Did a lot of research before purchasing this model. Decided to write a review, because that is what helped me with my decision. The video of the flame is very accurate. Fast shipping also. Great electric fireplace
This is a beautiful and very functional electric fireplace insert. We use it in the master bedroom, which tends to be cold and where the fireplace is very small. The flame is very realistic and the heating element is really quiet. The only thing is that the heat comes from the top of the insert, so if you sit in front of it you do not immediately feel the warmth, but it does heat up a large room. We love it.

I LOVE IT
I have an old fireplace with a sealed off chimney. This insert is so realistic and cozy I love it. I put a fireplace screen in front and it's beautiful. The ambiance is fantastic. I was sceptical at first, but I couldn't be happier. I do wish the cracker worked on remote as well.

We remodeled our family room and got rid of an old t v wall unit and replaced it with a fireplace/tv unit. However the fireplace used sterno like flames(oil cans). SO REALISTIC
I got fed up cleaning out the old fireplace. Living in Florida I wanted something that was cosy when it is cooler in the Winter, and on dull dreary wet days. This is ideal, with the flip of a switch I have the cosy effect without the mess. It looks so realistic.

EXCELLENT - I would highly recommend
I'd originally purchased the Opti Myst which I had problems with, also I didn't realize the water container needed constantly filling & cleaning - difficult to keep crawling into the fireplace. Electric Fireplaces were great, I received a full refund and purchased this unit. Just unpacked the box, lifted into the grate, and plugged it in. Very lifelike flame & logs, I absolutely love it - in fact I prefer it to the Opti Myst
