Great performance, heavy duty, and versatile!
Would RecommendI wasn’t satisfied with the less expensive Dewalt planer, and upgraded to this model. The price had been reduced to be just about the same as their DW734 planer, and I returned it for the DW735. It’s a major upgrade, much more sturdy, and works really well. Definitely the superior machine and gives excellent results with better features. I recommend getting the mobile base, too.

Darn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice machine, ejects wood chips and dust too well, overpowering my dust collector, so it blows out. Also the dust collector adapter broke after three months. Really poor and under-designed. Bound to break. Otherwise I like it, and I owned other makes and types before.

Great benchtop planer
Would RecommendVery solid construction, easy to setup and use, planed about 150’ of walnut, cherry, and white oak with it so far. Very minor sniping on short pieces. Partnered well with my Grizzly helical jointer. Will loom at the helical upgrade after these first knifes start to dull.

Amazing!
Would RecommendWorked like a champ! Setup was simple! Was up and running within minutes of getting it out of the box. If you don't have a dust collection, you may want setup a shop vac to help with the wood shavings and dust.

Nice Planer
Would RecommendBeen using this planer for about a year now. I have planed exotic hardwoods, oak, walnut and a fair share of ash with great results. I keep the speed setting on 1. I purchased the folding infeed outfeed tables along with the planer. They work well in preventing snipe once you get them adjusted correctly. I look to take only a 1/32" on every pass, the planer seems to run the best like this.
