Would RecommendI like the power and its ability to handle tough jobs. I do a lot of work on reclaimed oak wood. This is hard and dry lumber and will test any planer. I also have a Dewalt 734 planer and the 735 is a tougher and better tool.

Excellent Planer for the money.
Would RecommendNice and smooth feed and cut. Discharge of chips through blower is excellent. Had to put a recovery bag and hose of chip blower but 2 1/2 inch discharge tube is standard. 3 blade, 2 speed, runs good at 1/16 in cut. Does not like knots!

Would RecommendCame assembled (just screwed on handle) and ready to go. Chip ejector incredible, just wished theyd had it eject to side instead of straight back. Load and eject tables not included, and not necessary if using a sled.
