What Customers Are Saying
The jigsaw is described as a high-quality, powerful, and versatile tool with smooth operation, easy blade changes, and accurate cutting. It is praised for its durability and ergonomic design, providing a significant upgrade over previous models. However, some users have encountered issues with the blade not staying securely in place, the dust blower not working effectively, and the lack of included accessories. Overall, the jigsaw is viewed as an excellent power tool that delivers strong performance, though a few customers felt it could be improved with the inclusion of more accessories.

Would RecommendInitially purchased the Bosch 6.5 amp, long story short it was defective out of the box. Went to exchange it but there were no more in stock. Lowes gave me this dewalt for the same price. I could not be more impressed with this jigsaw. Low vibration, no blade issues, easiest saw on market to adjust cutting angle. You will not be disappointed.
Incomplete tool
Would Recommendnever have I ever purchased a power tool or any tool for that matter that did not come with wrenches or tools necessary to make the most basic adjustments, no accessories of any kind, no blades came with this saw????????????

Big Difference
Would RecommendI was using a smaller model jigsaw based on affordability. It started wearing out on me really quickly. I was so frustrated with the project that I was building. My wife made me break down and spend a little more for our next jigsaw. It was like night and day. The power was there. It cut through a 2x6 like butter. I was really impressed. Thanks Dewalt for saving the day!!

This product goes through plywood like butter. Very smooth operation, easy to control. Only disadvantage so far; when using opposite hand for stabilization of housing, it can get warm to the touch.

Intricate work is now a breeze
Would RecommendHad to make a 4ft by 5ft sign with some tight cuts. This saw is amazing, and love the front cut blade arrangement. The job was a snap. Building up my Dewald AC power tool collection and this was a must.

Good Jigsaw
Would RecommendExcellent tool. Saw is nicely designed and well thought out. Has plenty of power, cuts through thick hard wood easily. Blade changes are quick and easy. Tilt is very fast and easy to use. Speed control is easily accessible. Negatives: Dust blower does not work as well as expected, and the saw only uses "T" shank blades.

Solid, Easy to use, Dependable.
Would RecommendAs a Contractor I use this saw every day. I also have employees that use this same saw daily. I is one of the most well built, balanced saw I and my crews have ever used. The power and ease of use will astonish even the most discerning of users. The cost is in line with the quality and design of a commercial saw. This saw has paid for itself 20 times over and is still going strong. If you are a homeowner that only occasionally uses this type of a saw then the commercial quality may be cost prohi...
Bosch vs DeWalt ...
Would RecommendDeWalt won! My search for a jig saw was easy. Bosch or DeWalt. I really liked the look of the Bosch and the Keyless release feature. But the bottom line was that DeWalt was lighter and ergonomically better. It felt like you had better control over the tool. Although the Bosch was a very nice jig saw, it seemed heavy and with the hand grip on the top of the tool it made it seem like it would be difficult to maneuver through a cut. It's rare to have two brands of tools be so close in features and ...
Holy Cow what power!
Would RecommendIf you have a used a 4 amp or 5 amp saw before, this thing is going to give you chills. Put yourself a bosch blade in it and hold on. On it's fastest speed with the blade set to "orbit" it will cut through 3/4 maple plywood like hot butter. Great base with plastic cover so no black marks. Also tilting base is accurate enought and dust port and blower is a nice feature. I can't describe the power of this thing, but if you buy it you will not be disapointed.
Commercial Grade Jigsaw
Would RecommendThis is an excellent jigsaw. It is well designed and very sturdy. It's ergonomics and features seem to have been well thought out. I debated on whether or not to get the 20v battery powered model but decided to go with this corded version instead. Since I am not a contractor I probably would have been happy with the battery powered unit but I have absolutely no regrets with this model. It's powerful, smooth and easy to handle.

very nice jig saw
Would RecommendI purchased this jig saw for the purpose of cutting 16gauge mild steel. with bosch t123x hss blades it not only cuts 16 guage mild steel but i can also cut 1/4" mild steel with lil effort. to sum this review up this is a very powerful and well built jig saw.
Wow!
Would RecommendI just bought this to cut out some plywood for cornices I'm making for my windows. My last jigsaw was a low end type and I hated using it because it bounced all over the place. This Dewalt cost more but boy does it ever give a smooth cut. I was also impressed that it came in a hard case as I'm a neat freak when it comes to my tools. I was only disappointed it did not come with a blade. This baby will be getting a lot of use from me.
Big Difference!
Would RecommendWOW! Like my other Dewalt tools, there is a BIG DIFFERENCE over the cheap stuff! Nuff Said!

Runs smooth
Would RecommendThis tool works great. I have no problems with it. The blades hook in fast and easy. We use this tool everryday and love it. It is very smooth and balanced for easy cutting.
Don't waste money on this.
Would Not RecommendI'm a woodworker - so I use tools on a daily basis. This jig is going back to Lowe's. The T shank blade will not stay in at all. It comes out constantly while trying to cut wood - straight short cuts. I have to take pliers and shove the blade in but it still won't stay half the time. I fear a total design flaw in this tool.
