The jigsaw is described as a high-quality, powerful, and versatile tool with smooth operation, easy blade changes, and accurate cutting. It is praised for its durability and ergonomic design, providing a significant upgrade over previous models. However, some users have encountered issues with the blade not staying securely in place, the dust blower not working effectively, and the lack of included accessories. The DeWalt Jigsaw rocks! my only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!
Happily, you get what you pay for with this saw!
Would RecommendA great step-above-the-ordinary machine, and worth every penny! Smooth, low vibration, precise cuts--great for scrolling. Yet TONS of power when you need it. Nice, tight (tool-less) blade lock. Responsive trigger control. Felt heavy when I first picked it up (it's built like a tank!), but I found it to be well balanced, comfortable, and easy to handle. It's a joy to use. That's what I paid for, and that's what I got. My blades don't fall out. Nothing to whine about how the trigger feels--it wo...
Easy to use!
Would RecommendThis DeWalt jig saw is extremely easy to handle. I have problems with my hands but used this as if my problems didn’t exist. First time owning my own DeWalt product and now I’m sold on the brand.

Great jig saw
Would RecommendThis jig saw is solid. Feels like you have a well made tool in your hand and it is. Other jig saws I’ve used have felt like they may not get through the job. This DeWalt jig saw feels like it could run forever. Does everything I expect out of a good saw. Highly recommend this saw. Reasonably priced too.
Be aware you need t-shank blades with this jigsaw
Pay close attention to the blades you purchase with this jigsaw. Only t-shank blades work. Some websites (including Lowe’s) pair this jigsaw with blades that won’t work with it.
