Bit Set

Think this is one of the best bit set I’ve ever had. Like the scratch resistant covers on the Phillips bit and the bit holder. Really like that the bits are locked in making it hold the bit in place until you unlock it. Even though it has a magnet to hold it in place but extra secure with the lock. Plenty of room for expansion in the storage box. Also you can store the bits facing upwards and they are easily removed from the rotating storage strips. I would recommend this to everyone.

Product was Very light Weight and easy to use and store, Husband was Really impressed and enjoyed using this product,next project this weekend will be using it again

Compact & Utile

This driver bit set is a great addition to any tool box. It is especially useful for working in tight spots where you want to avoid scratching or marring of metals. The protective sleeves enable you to hold and guide the bits to tighten or remove screws The compact case keeps the bits in order and from getting lost. This is definitely a good product for a handyman.

Nice starter set

I do like this driver bit set. This test set is limited but it would be really a nice tool when fully complemented. I really like the protection sleeves, I have vision problems so being able to hold the sleeve while the bit spins safely inside is awesome for me.

Tough tool

When I opened these bit set there was no instructions. Just live and learn but boy how they work great. And tough. Easy to load the drive bit and remove. I hope they hold up. I want to get more to fill up the set. The tube in the tray just pops out and back in.

A practical, uniquely designed niche tool

I was skeptical. I expected a long shafted #2 Phillip's head bit enclosed in a plastic sleeve to help keep from marring a door knob's finish when assembling or disassembling door hardware. I did not expect that the shaft FREELY rotates inside the sleeve so there is NO chance of marring the knob. A great design for this purpose! Love this accessory!

This has got to be the best driver accessory I've run across in many years. The free wheeling orange sleeve is non-marring and it solves a lot of problems. I'd hate to count the number of door knobs I've scratched up using a regular screwdriver, even after I started putting tape around the shaft. The Apex bits solve that problem 100%. Good bits for everything plus protection

This impact driver bit set is the perfect compliment to my Dewalt cordless drill. It has all the bits I would need plus the protective cover for them all. We just moved to a new house and I am using this set everywhere and not gouging out wood or metal surfaces in the process. Carrying case keeps everything organized and there is room to add to the set. I definitely love this.

Not just all the needed bits, Great holder design.

It's not just a case with all the most used bit, it's the bit holder that counts. The case or shell around the bit holder and the full bit has the ability to save your fingers, and your work. How many times have you had a close quarters spot that you needed to guide the tip into place? Excellent Driver Bits

These various style driver bits come in a very handy carrying case. The storage slots make it easy to find the right bit, use it and return it to the slot. The extension bit holders with the guard make it easier to hold and start the screws without spinning in ones fingers. This is a unique safety feature. The carrying case has a slide locking feature that prevents accidental opening. These bits are very durable. I expect to use them for an extended period of time.

Excellent Driver bit set

Works like advertised. The PH2 bit with u-guard works great. With the sleeve it's diameter is 3/8 inch. The quick release bit holder for other bits has a diameter of 13/16. I loved the each bit is clearly marked on the outside. I found the magnet of the QR BH to be very good. It looks like I will be retiring my 30+ year old APEX driver bit set.

Impact driver bit set

I am writing this review with only a limited test time because they like the reviews to be done ASAP. At work we just finished the wall rough in and started the overhead work. It will be several months before we will be ready to do any finish work. But I did test the bits and they seem to be of good quality. I am looking forward to using this set once we get to the stage where we are doing light fixtures. These should help prevent scarring the finish products.

Lots of different size bits in a sturdy case

The Crescent APEX case contains 18 pierces including to easy grip attachments to use with the included bits.They are stored neatly in a sturdy carting case that is fasten securely .

set too small

I think the concept and quality of the Crescent Apex Impact Driller bit set is very good. It seems like a good system except for the 18 pieces aren't quite enough pieces. The plastic box is too large for the 18 pieces. The pivoting insert rails do not have the room up above drivers. The pivoting insert rails are hard to remove and adjust. Overall it is a great system except for the limit of 18 pieces.

Great non-marring bit holder set

I like this product. I used the PH 2 holder and bit to tighten the arms of my nice cherry dining room chairs. It did not mar the finish. The bits are labelled for easy ID and are strong. The bit case is very strong and organized well. The magnetic holder is well made with a strong magnet. Pull the orange protective sleeve to fully insert the bit. The bit fits well and doesn't wobble. There is a good assortment of bits. These work well at preventing scratches and marks on good furniture.

GREAT SET FOR DIYer

Great drill bit set. Has all the basic drill bits with Phillip and Flat head sizes. The guards are nice if you’re in a tight space so it doesn’t damage anything while using the drill. The guards spin so there’s literally no friction against another service. Comes in an easy to carry plastic case. Great for the home DIYer.

Nice set!

This is a nice set of drivers. The case is sturdy and I like that the top of the case is clear so you can see what you have inside. It contains the essential bits that you would use for most projects that in use an impact driver. I like the marking tool as well. Helpful to have this with the set!

Works good. Smells bsd

I have used this product along with deer fence many time. This still smells bad but better then deer fence. Have used it in rose gardens but the smell makes roses not very attractive. My photos will show area I used it on before and an area that I ran out of it before finish. It does keep the deer away
