Had a great concept, just didn't work for me

Apex Driver Bit set - it has a great idea for working on certain job items and protecting the finishes on them, exp. door knobs, cabinet hinges, and outdoor lights. I tried to use it to do some of the finishing work on my son's new home. I found the protective cover on the screw chuck made it hard to see where the bit actually was when trying to drive screws in. Very useful

I use the bit attachments the most. The ones that you use for door knob handles came in handy for tightening the screws. It didn't scratch the door knobs. Handy storage case also.

Sleeves make driving screws very easy

These impact bits and attachments have come in very handy for various projects. Having the sleeve makes driving screws so much easier - no more catching fingers or gloves as it turns. The case has extra room for adding more bits as needed and all parts of the product are well-designed and seem very durable.

Case too Big

Clear instructions. Case too big to fit in work cargo pants. Medium quality set. Wouldn’t be a big loss if left on a job site. Worked great in 1st week of use but awkward to carry around.

Nice basic set

It’s an awfully huge box for what’s in it. But if you’re like me and carry and drop everything, this case is perfect - put all you little supplies in, carry to wherever you need it. The set is basic, has flat head, Phillips, and US and metric Allen wrench attachments. Handy tool

This bit set was a life saver during a kitchen remodel. I was able to remove awkward blind hardware in a matter of seconds vs. doing it by hand and having to look for the right screw bit. I used the hexagon shaped bit for hardware removal. It did exactly as promised and didn’t damage the hardware as the bit spun but the protective cover did not. Love that you can purchase more bits to complete the set and they are easily removed and replaced.

Nice little drill bit set, but case too big

Case was a little too big for the few accessories that were included. Other than that, these are very well made and easy to use. Case is higher quality that some in this price range.

Bits and bits

Drill bits are of good quality. Easy to use. Good fit in hand. Would be better if there were more bits included in the kit. Overall I would recommend this product.

Good Concept

This is a good product but has some drawbacks. The free-spinning, non-marring cover works as advertised. One can hold the cover while working which provides additional stability. The cover also protects the work from scratches. However, when this bit wears out it will have to be discarded because the tip cannot be changed. I received this set of driver bits through the Lowe’s Loop program. Really nice and love the caring case. I had a set but not as nice as these. If I were going purchase I would eate number of bits and extensions. Very nice.

Wonderful idea

As a serious DIYer, this kit is a great addition to my workbench. The case is very sturdy and well made, with a good slide lock feature. No sooner did I get this, when my 2 year old grandson locked himself in the bathroom, but I was able to take off the doorknob and reinstall without scratching anything. Keeps me from screwing up.

I got the 18 piece Crescent Apex bit set. See pics. I’ve finally got tired of taking shortcuts that end up in costing me more money and getting hurt. I like this little set and I’m going to get more to complete it. It says the bit holder is good for 1000 volts. Thats plenty for my 110 and 220 outlets/connections. This set came with 2 flat head bits, 6 phillips head bits, 5 Torx bits, and 3 square drives ( I guess for those new deck screws for the expensive decking boards. Its got a phillips ...
