Best Green Egg alternative
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for a birthday present from my wife. I buddy advised her of this. I thought I wanted a Green Egg, but the cost of those were just too much. I am so happy I got the AutoKamado. Regulating the heat and controlling it from an app is amazing. The only add on I purchased was the ceramic heat deflector. That is flat and able to hold an aluminum pan under it catch the grease. I cannot express how happy I am with this unit.

Affordable Power
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've cooked on higher end "Akorn-shaped" grills in the past, and this thing holds its own. I would put it up against any other grill! I've had mine now for 5-6-7 years, and it keep on trucking---replaced the grate and an o-ring for the top outlet, and that's literally it.

The only problem was, the axel was missing. Contacted the company and received the replacement in a short amount of time. Awesome smoker and grill
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Auto Kamado a few years back. I’ve cooked pork shoulders, pizza, steaks, pork chops, whole chickens, chicken wings hotdogs and sausages. I like being able to set the temperature and Bluetooth/Wifi connection to my phone. Whatever I cook, I get great smoke flavor. I love that I can grill or smoke.

Fun to use

Great Value
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Auto Kamado is a great value. We get the great Akorn with automation. The algorithm in the fan controller is very neat. One area for improvement is to make the Kamado more air tight. This will prevent the occasional temp spikes. Overall very happy. I like it more than my BGE.

High quality product
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 18 months ago. I really enjoy using it. It holds temp very well and it uses very little charcoal. It is so much easy to cook. I no longer have to babysit my cooking. It gets 4 stars because the temp prove is very delicate, it needs some improvment.

Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Auto Kamado for almost 2 years. It's easy to use & very efficient. I've done 15 hr cooks no problem. I broke the piece that lifts the grate & called for warranty. It took about 6 months to get it. Sometimes it doesn't start back up after pausing it. I just kill the power & reset it. It's a pain but there is no other way. I get an error sometimes when i lift the lid. I assume there's a short in the thermometer cable. I need to c...

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used our Akorn for two years now. For my wife and I we normally cook 3 entries at a time. This allows us to eat all week with firing it up for 1 afternoon. Grill is very airtight and the charcoal lasts for hours. I add either apple, peach or cherry wood cuttings to the charcoal for smoking.
