It just works! We wanted something that would smoke and grill while looking good and not taking up too much room in the backyard. We immediately made some fantastic smoked ribs and grilled steaks. It was easy to operate and keep clean. Bought the cover separately, and it looks great! The grill came in many pieces and took a little assembly, and some of the steps took applying some pressure, but the end result was definitely worth it.

Had the original, this is a game changer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the original for years. I loved it, and still do, but my wife got me the Auto as a gift. There’s a bit of a learning curve but it isn’t bad. The build is what I have come to expect from Char-Griller; exceptional! The Auto-Kamado screams quality. There’s nothing “cheap” about it, except for the price! The build is rock solid and it is definitely built to last! Looks like this one is a keeper that I will have and enjoy for years to come!

My 2nd Auto Kamado, but certainly not the last.
This is my 2nd Auto Kamado. I’m still using the first, but it’s beginning to wear out from age and use. I received an email from Akorn about a one day flash sale for the Auto, so I jumped on it. Needless to say, I feel that this grill is fantastic, and suits my cooking style very well. Can’t see myself using anything other grill.
