Akorn is a game changer

The Char-Griller app allows me to monitor the grill temp as well as the included probes that allow me to monitor the internal meet temperature. Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my AKORN for over 8 years. Once you figure out the venting it keeps a consistent temperature. When my cooking is done, I close all vents and the remaining charcoal can be used on my next cook. Very efficient.

Excellent tasting food
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had 3 Akorn smokers. The first, I bought over 12 years ago. The second is in my seasonal home. The Auto Komado is to replace the 1st. I'm crazy about the wood smoked + lump charcoal flavor they create. The Auto improves the stable temperature control. I'm sold on the concept and durability. My investment for the 3 in total remains smaller than if I had bought 1 Green Egg!

The ability to smoke meat and the next day grill

Even down to the smoke ring. I can do grilling anytime, but there's an art to smoking. And Char-Griller has got it goin'.
