What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly report severe dissatisfaction, citing persistent Wi-Fi connectivity failures, blurry or faded print output, and frustrating setup experiences as primary complaints. Many describe spending hours troubleshooting without success, with some abandoning the device entirely. Print quality degrades quickly, and replacement ink costs approach the original purchase price, leading reviewers to call it a waste of money. A small group acknowledges basic functionality for light home use and mobile printing, but these positive experiences are consistently overshadowed by widespread technical failures. Most customers express strong regret and state they will not repurchase.

Would Not Recommendbought in 2021, and it worked pretty well. A couple days ago, my modem was replaced - same modem, just a new one. Now it will NOT connect at all. Ive done troubleshooting, unplugging, replug, pressing the buttons. On light steady, blue wifi light blinking, printer cannot be found. only way to use is with (bought separately of course) which defeats wireless. ipad cannot find at all. Printer remains offline. Now what do I do?

DO NOT BUY
Would Not RecommendBought this with the understanding it was an easy set up, furthest thing from that. Set up is NOT easy, god forbid you change wifi then it goes from a headache to a migraine

Great for everyday stuff.
Would RecommendWorked great for basic use. I have had issues with connection when I lived in a small town, but not anymore. The wireless works well from my phone, too. Print quality is sufficient. Haven't tried photo printing.

Piece of junk that doesn't connect.
Used to work great less than two years ago. Now it's impossible to connect it to my phone. Very dissapointed and will never be buying from this company again.

DON'T BUY
Would Not RecommendThis printer is the worst printer I have ever bought. I have worked HOURS and installed 900 drivers and all the extra stuff they want and still can't get it to connect. Horrible buy.

Worked alright
Would RecommendLasted for 6 years before an internal inaccessable mechanical issue proved too much of a bother to fix

Great all in one printer
Would RecommendI got this printer in Mar. 2023 and its easy to set it up wirelessly via the Canon app but I can see where it would cause problems for people who are not tech savvy I used my cell phone to put the printer on my network just make sure the cell is on 2.4GHz wi-fi channel and follow the instructions took less than 5 minutes to setup

Useless
Crap - won't connect to wireless network - have to download a multiple of extra software and still does not work. Avoid

printer heads not spraying ink.
Would Not RecommendI sent an earlier review on this printer today but forgot to mention that it can't be repaired. Since I bought this product before the pandemic there's no warranty on it. I called a local repair person and he said that since it was a cheap printer, I should get another one. That's not going to happen.

PRINTER HEAD NOT WORKING!
I bought this model before the pandemic so it's out of warranty. Never used it that much printed some documents and photos. After the ink cartridges ran out, I bought another pair, but prints came out with thin white strips. I did the maintenance instructions even using deep cleaning but, in the end, it got worse. I can print black and white prints that come out purple, so no color prints from this piece of crap! I should have read the reviews on the unit ( average rating is 2 and a half stars),...

My second MG3620 -- can't go wrong.
Would RecommendThis model is inexpensive yet the best printer I ever owned. I had the exact same model for 5 or 6 years and it died. I liked it enough to buy the exact same model. I had a hard time installing it because I forgot to delete the old one before installing the new one -- my bad. But the Canon tech rep stayed with me on the line until all was complete.

Printing and Scanning Competently
Would RecommendThe Canon PIXMA MG3620 does the job for printing and scanning. The directions and user guidance provided neglects to note that to enable wireless printing if you have a dual band router, the computer must connect to the same band that the printer connects to. The Canon printer only connects to the 2.4GHz band. If the printer is connect to the 2.4 band and the computer connects to the 5GHz band, they are unable to communicate. It does a good job of printing and scanning. It has a very useful...

impossible to connect via WiFi
Would Not Recommendthis printer never connects via WiFi or using a cable. every time i need to print, it takes me an hour to figure out how to connect and half the time i give up then run to Kinko's or FEDex. truly the worst printer i've ever owned.

Good Printer - Bad WiFi Setup
Would RecommendI've had this printer for years. It's a good little printer that saves space and has all necessary features for a small home office. The USB install works well. I haven't had an issue with USB installs, and I've had to set it up for 3 different occasions. The WiFi setup is a major pain in the butt... It always takes me over an hour to set up since I always forget what I did last time to make it work successfully. For future readers, here are some tips that will probably help you do a su...

Almost perfect
Would RecommendI bought this printer because my Pixma MG3220 served me well for 9 years, and I expect the MG3620 will do the same. But I worry that I might have the same problem as the MG3220, i.e. errors because the ink absorber pads were full. Instead of making the pads easy to clean/replace, Canon expects you to take the printer in for service! This is an inexpensive printer and the cost of a service visit would exceed the value of the printer. Throughout the manual are references to the "service center". ...

Pixma MG3620
Would RecommendSo far it is working ok, no problems so far. I will see just how long this one will last unlike the other printer.

Did Not Setup WiFi Printer
Would Not RecommendThe online "manual" is useless because the Canon website has bugs and there is no way to figure out what is wrong.
