Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly report severe dissatisfaction, citing persistent Wi-Fi connectivity failures, blurry or faded print output, and frustrating setup experiences as primary complaints. Many describe spending hours troubleshooting without success, with some abandoning the device entirely. Print quality degrades quickly, and replacement ink costs approach the original purchase price, leading reviewers to call it a waste of money. A small group acknowledges basic functionality for light home use and mobile printing, but these positive experiences are consistently overshadowed by widespread technical failures. Most customers express strong regret and state they will not repurchase.

Bought this printer last week. I had trouble setting it up without the CD. With the CD, it install easily. Print quality is really good. Even when i set it on Gray Scale and Draft printing, the quality was decent. I do a lot of printing, so I'm almost out of black ink. Seems like it should have lasted longer. Great quality printer for the price. I highly recommend it!

Good printer with little issue
Would RecommendI purchased this printer to replace my faulty MX392 since they use the same ink cartridges. So I like to do a comparison between these two. Basically they are close in print quality. MG3620 seems a little faster and it's a little smaller and lighter. But it doesn't have the top document feeder, that's the only thing I missed from MX392. The wireless feature is great and convenient, but it's NOT easy to setup. I had to try many times and eventually had it up(wired USB connection has no issue). O...

Excellent Quality
I've had this printer for several years and it works well and is easy to set up. Never has an issue with printing! I have gone thru so many printers but this one is a workhorse! Way to go Canon!

Canon printer
Would Not RecommendI bought this for my business and when I print pages the tray that catches the paper is too short and all the papers end up in the floor in a huge mess. This is very bad considering I print all the time at work. I would not recommend this printer at all.

Paired with more advanced technologies some tweaking is necessary…
Would RecommendMaintain reasonable expectations and the MG3620 should be an adequate printer for some users. On a limited income and more in need of a scanner (for digital archiving) than anything else I bought this on sale and saved on paying the chain stores to scan for me to boot. As long as it was inexpensive and wireless I was willing to settle a bit on quality, especially since the two “fancier” more expensive printers I owned in the past simply clogged to the point of non-usability from very light use a...

Not what I wanted.
I am 84 and needed a printer that was easy to use. So far I do not like this printer. Black smudge on copies and I have professional photo paper and cannot use it to print pictures. I have to buy special photo paper to use in this printer. Canon paper to be exact. The HP I had before was much better, .I told my son he can return this one.

Ok for the price
Would RecommendIt does ok but has trouble connecting to devices. Will do a decent job for small print jobs. Inexpensive option if you need a 3 in 1.

Must have cell phone app, printer internet connection, give Canon data
Would Not RecommendThis printer forces you to download an app on your phone, create a My Canon Account, and then share all your data to use it! Due to Canon launching My Canon Account in May of 2019 to better manage customers' access to technical support content and assistance, it lost me as a customer. I am not going to sign up for an account or have/own/use a printer that requires me to have a cell phone app and share my info plus have an internet connection for the printer at all times to use it. Canon's un...

Great printer for the price!
Would RecommendGreat printer for the price. I have been buying a few other year during Canon's "Black Friday Sale" for our office. Seems to print good quality prints too. I print 10-30 pages (copy paper) daily and this printer holds up for about 2-3 years before the "overflow ink tray" fills and will no longer work. Others in my office have had theirs for 4+ years since they do not print often.

Excellent printer overall
Would RecommendI’ve had this printer for years (at least 5) and it’s been great. While I believe there are more robust, higher quality printers out there, this one has never disappointed me. It’s been reliable and consistent. It renders great color as well as B&W prints. The only downside is the cost of replacement ink which is a universal complaint with printers for as long as my memory serves. With that being said, even with a moderate amount of printing, I only have to replace the ink cartridges just under ...

The One year wonder
Would Not RecommendFor a printer used occasionally, (I'm retired), it lasted a little over a year, then it started eating paper, would not print clearly, and would not align correctly.

Junk
Would Not RecommendI needed a printer for working from home because I had an HP printer that died. I got the Cannon and was able to pair it with my phone. After printing about 10 pages of labels it stopped printing the whole page and the colors were not printing properly. Yes, I changed the ink. I then needed to print some paperwork off for my work and could not connect with my computer. It asks for a code, which is not located on the printer and the crappy display doesn’t show any code. So it looks like I will be...

Always a problem
Would Not RecommendIt's been about 6 to 7 months since I bought this printer to replace my old one. There's never a time where I turn it on putting a d in finished. Each job I try to load there's a problem connecting to the printer. It's been hours that I've been trying to print my very important document and can't. This is a highly reoccurring issue and I'm completely exhausted with trying. 1 star, I do not recommend this item.

A fine low cost printer
I've had this printer for a few years. It prints fine, it scans fine, it's simple enough to change the ink cartridges. It does what a low-priced printer should

cheap
Would Not RecommendI had it for a year, and then it broke. It sucked up 10 papers at once, and the jam cannot be undone.

Disposable and a pain
Would Not RecommendWi-Fi doesn’t set up Ink dries up quickly. Too complicated for its own good. Needs simplified or more buttons Run out of color ink won’t print black with new cartridge. These are exactly the problem with consumer products filling up landfills

Total piece of garbage, canon should be sued for still selling this
Have to turn it off and on every time I want to use it. Doesn't connect, doesn't respond, paper jams, absolute scam from Canon.
