Do not recommend. Owned for less than 10 years and now it sparks from inside corner as mentioned by so many other reviews. Expensive microwave to not even last 2 years. Very disappointed.

Awful Mistake.

This drawer microwave came with the newly built house I just moved into. I thought the concept of a drawer microwave sounded interesting... but I really don't like it. All the time I am in the kitchen my leg hits it and it's constantly beeping. I have to bend over in half to see the controls. Opening and closing the drawer is painfully slow. And if you put something in it and leave it for a few minutes before heating it up, it won't let you start it until you open and close the drawer again....

We have had our microwave for a month and it’s beautiful and works great!

Fire hazard?

We noticed this burnt spot inside the microwave. Not sure what to do now since it's been more than 1 year since we installed it (warranty is only 1 year). What are our options to address the issue, does it pose fire hazard??

Control panel

Control panel randomly went out and stopped working after a year and a half but luckily we bought the extended 5 year warranty and they gave us a new one since the control panel was on back order with no ETA. Other than that, it worked pretty good without issues.

Fire danger! Do not buy!

We are having the same problem so many others have been reporting. Back left wheel sparking in the microwave. There is a black mark from it burning the back side of the microwave. This is a definite fire hazard. Surprised there’s not a lawsuit yet. We’ve had it 15 months so past warranty of course. This is very frustrating.

Looks beautiful but…

We recently purchased all Cafe appliances for our new kitchen. This microwave drawer was one of the items that drew us to GE Cafe. It looks beautiful and very sleek. But, we have only had it less than 6 months and the motherboard had to be replaced. It’s a real bummer when you spend a lot of money on brand new appliances and have them break within months. Doesn’t make sense. As long as it starts working and lasts a long time, it’s really nice to have.

Cool Microwave

Love the drawer concept but bottoms are sensitive and it’s had to be reset twice and I’ve only had it a couple weeks.

Great features and capacity!!

Great design with lots of space/capacity and plenty of features. There are lots of settings to control the power using preset buttons or you can manually set them.

Many functions on this microwave.

Great ease of use. The sliding drawer prevents slamming of the microwave door. The drawer does not beep when food is done which i love. The size is perfect for us, a dinner plate fits with no problem. 30 second automatic button which can be increased by pressing again for 30 second increments. Power is good with just a warming for first 30 seconds, but 1 minute and food is piping hot.

Could be better

Did a kitchen remodel and decided to get a drawer microwave for our island. Works as expected, however none of the buttons are back lit so it’s very difficult to see the buttons with the microwave being at waist level. Also, if you don’t keep it in lock mode and you’re standing in front of it, it will open.

Sparks here, too!

We are just under 2 months with our microwave and are in the same boat as many of these other reviews with sparks flying from the back left corner of the microwave. Was working fine up until a few days ago, very disappointed in this.

Love my new MW

I love my new microwave! I put the mw in my island. It is designed well and it performs very well. Great features also.

we have joined the crowd

This product we've had for about a year and up to now it has performed well and has many nice features. However yesterday the back left corner started sparking similar to what others have described. I'm trying to find purchase date which is complicated as this was purchased by our decorator during a recent remodel. The arcing seems to be to the metal post holding the rear roller.

Excellent Microwave

Our designer recommended a microwave drawer and after research we settled on the café model. We couldn’t be happier with the quality and look of this microwave. We installed it under our coffee bar. I like that it doesn’t take up counter space. Installed approximately six months ago.

Beautiful appliances and they work so well. The features are wonderful, and the function is awesome.

Modern and minimal

Love the sleek look in a white kitchen! Its has a very smooth opening and close and doesnt make a lot of noise

This appliance needs back lights on the control panel.
