Brother continues to sell a printer for which there is no ink! Do not buy it (nor any other product from them as they are dishonest). I totally understand supply chain issues but to keep telling users “soon” is now dishonest. If they do not know they should just say so.

I have a new brother computer that uses the LC 401 cartridges> I can't use my computer now simply I can't find the LC 401 black cartridges anywhere, not even on your website. there are absolutely none in the Charleston area. last time I ordered from this company I ordered 4 boxes. I don't think the cartridge lasts as long as indicated on the box. Please advise where to purchase this item. I NEED TO PRINT EVERTNING FOR MY JOB!! this I can't without black ink.

Do not buy!!
My printer has turned into an additional place to set things and collect dust in my office. I cannot find ink for it anywhere which is incredibly inconvenient for the work I do. I’m so close to just trashing it and buying another printer of a different brand. Give me a date for when the ink will be in stock. ASAP is not an answer.

Bought this printer mid january. Can't find ink anywhere. SIX weeks ago they said ink would be in in 2-3 weeks. And today they are STILL saying 2-4 weeks. Where do I send this back to get my refund. Ink only available with subscription
It seems they have no problem providing black ink under subscription. The printer is no good without black ink. Subscriptions are way too expensive, i.e., I would pay three times the amount on subscription because they determine the amount they charge by number of pages printed each month and not by when the cartridges need replacing -- therefore if you are on the monthly plan they charge you even if you do not need the replacement.

Brother Please Send Me Another Printer
I can't find this in stock anywhere. I just bought this printer and need to use it regularly for work. Can Brother send me a link to sister company that has another ink I can use? Is there any other brand ink that works in the LC401? I truly cannot get the product anywhere. If you can't provide the ink, how am I suppose to print on your product? Terrible page yield
By far the worst printer I’ve ever owned. I own it just for family home use and I’m having to pay for a new ink cartridge every month. I NEVER had this issue before buying this printer. Now the black ink cartridges are sold out everywhere. I wish I could return this printer.

Great upgrade
I wanted another Brother so I could use the utilities I already have. It works great and they eliminated the print ribbon errors with the old machine . The scan allows more options to store documents. Very happy with the new product.

Ink issues
I had to buy new printer since can't use with just color ink. I chose different a different brand that seems to have good ink supply for it. I'm leary that it counts pages printed correctly too. Seems very off.
