No ink! Why sell these printers?

Its ridiculous that this company sells a printer that you can't even get black ink for. If I could leave 0 stars I truly would. I've been trying to get ink for months to no avail. Whats the point wasting money on a printer you can't even use and the company has done nothing to try and make up for it to customers.

i am with everyone on this review regarding lack of black ink supplies. i started looking about a month ago. brother customer services tells me a month more, maybe. WHAT? a printer w/o ink = no printer. i would not have purchased a Brother product had i known it would be impossible to replace the ink cartridge.

I regret buying this brand printer. It's ridiculous that they are out of black ink and you cannot find any anywhere. I purchased one for my office and not I am SOL because I cannot use the printer. It would be nice to get a refund. I will never purchase another brother printer.

Sad Story

My printer is less than a month old. After spending over an hour trying to find this ink anywhere and reviewing the comments on this web page and since the replacement cartridges are more expensive than the printer, when my current ink runs out I am buying a new printer and throwing this in the garbage. Brother should have to buy back every one of the printers that use this ink back immediately.

Do Not Order, They'll never send it.

Ordered over a month ago. It still isn't here. Checked order status and it's still on backorder. Brother was happy to take my money for this product they clearly don't make anymore. If anyone is reading this, do yourselves a favor and don't purchase this ink. While you're at it, don't buy this printer either. Seems like Brother no longer supports it. Go with a different printer company.
