This was what was need for a small trailer lot. It was perfect for the area and worked real easy around shrubs.

Got the job done

This is the ONLY weedwhacker, I I've tried 7-8, the only one of them that cut through the new Mexico brush which I struggle with every year. I'm over the moon.

Great trimmer

This is the second GH3000 trimmer I have owned. First one lasted about 15 years so I replaced it with the model. I have never had any problems with the line feeding in my old GH3000 trimmer and after using the new one it worked just as good as the one that just died after 15 years. I don't know why others are having the problem with their line feeding, both of mine the line feeds just fine.

New trimmer is exceptionally light. Only wish it covered a larger area.

My $70 String Reel Cap

I bought this trimmer because I could not get a replacement string reel cap for my older identical trimmer. And you thought Communism was bad. And why do you need my email address? You sent me this invitation at my email address.

Auto feed is WORTHLESS

You can go thru a whole spool of line in as little as 30 feet. It will either not feed at all, or it ALL comes out at once. A total waste of your time and energy. You will spend more time messing with line than weed eating! DON'T BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very Good Trimmer, Needs Straight Shaft !!!

Like so many of the other reviewers, when I first purchased this machine in 2015 I was going to write a very negative review of the machine and the auto-feed head. At first, the spool and line that came with the machine worked fine, but when I wound replacement line, trimming was VERY FRUSTRATING, line fed out faster than the speed of the cutting head. I was ready to spend several minutes/hours cursing the thing, but then I looked into the issue and found that I had been loading the line BACKWAR...

Spool issues... can't go 3rd party. should be pulled from the market.

Works Like ACharm

We havebattery operated and gas operated weed eaters but they are heavy for me. I thought the electric would be cumbersome with the extension cord but it isn’t. I just keep the cord behind me at all times. Cuts great and I love the auto feed. No tapping, it just feeds as needed.

Dangerous and should be recalled

I bought 2 GH3000 2 years ago and used it as recommended over that time they both have caught fire where the cord plugs into it. It just caught fire while using, and almost burned my hand while the other almost hurt my teen age son. I would warn against anyone buying this product and it should be recalled before someone gets seriously hurt.

Terrible trimmer

Feeds out large amounts of line, doesn't cut it and then tangles it completely around the power head. Has done this since new.

Meh

Bought this to replace my Grass Hog 1000 dissatisfying at best. Cuts slow due to the single string and the motor derates itself when put into edging mode. Good thing it has a wheel because you will get tired of holding it up waiting for it to cut.

Very powerful

Does a nice job edging. Only drawback is that it goes through line quickly.

Got the job done. Works as it should. Doesn’t seem like it will be long term but it’s good for now. Great price too.

No problems with it yet. I was tired of gas trimmers so opted for the electric one. It is powerful and easy to use. 4 stars because I still can't figure out how to get the handle on it...

Great for the price

I just used this product for the first time yesterday. I bought an electric model because I have a small yard, but have a lot of trimming to do around planting beds and a stone patio that requires trimming between the stones.
