Best trimmer Make..

I bought this unit so many years ago I don not remember. it is the best it is 110 volts and never problem. now I can not replace spools of string, and I am not happy, that you made a very good product. how do I find the spools. so I can get back to work.

ample power

Unfortunately, the AFS feature is a bad idea, badly executed. Just used this trimmer, and in tall grass it cut really well, when it had string. I wound the string just as instructed, and it would only operate for a few minutes and jam. Very exasperating!

Worst edger EVER ! Can I give it 0 stars ?

I have a 3 yr old Grasshog which is a back up for me , as my other wager is in service right now . This edger is the WORST TOOL ever designed . The line feed feature is horrible , it feeds out line constantly , you have to reload the spool several times per edging session . It feeds line out beyond the line cutter and is a hazard to your legs and feet . This tool should be banned or redesigned don’t buy one .

Light weight. Easy to use.

I bought this yesterday and used it to trim and edge my lawn. I love how lightweight it is and how easy to transition from trimmer to edger. At first , I had issues with the line but after I redid the spool with new line, I had no troubles. I really love this!

Easy-use edger

This is a light-weight, easy to wield edger. Plenty of power for my entire yard. I've had a number of edgers before this, and I am liking this one the best.

Powerful

This string trimmer performs exactly as I expected. It's a good value for the money. The guard is a nice size, and I'm very happy with the power.

Very versatile

Never had an electric trimmer before. Very happy with the ease at which you can switch from trimmer to edger. Sometimes the automatic string feeder doesn't put out string as quickly as I would like, but otherwise it is fine.

Good for price

Product does the job for light work around landscaping and along driveway edge. Not exactly smooth and lightweight but for the price it works just fine.

Adams Weed Eater

Bought it, took it to my sons home and used it hard. Works well and stood up to what ever I threw it into. durable; it's a Black & Decker!

Good product at reasonable price

I've always used Black & Decker weed eater/trimmers. This model does a pretty good job although I can't figure out what triggers the auto feed for the plastic string. I do like the wheel guide for the edger position.

DONT BUY

I bought this item June 25 2018 n used it twice the third time using it, it caught fire where the cord plugs into it, there was no smoke no burning smell it just caught fire while using, n burned part of my hand

Love this trimmer!

Exactly what I needed. Lightweight and does a bang up job! The string doesn't break and the auto feed is great. Truly a blessing. I was having so much trouble with my old Craftsman and it's thin line breaking every 3 seconds.

buying 2nd replacement after 4 years

This is our 3rd trimmer. Began with lower amp model, but worked well for over 3 years. Replaced with higher amp trimmer over 4 years ago and it has been a workhorse for us. Highly recommend. I just ordered a new one today.

Product works as advertised.

Having used a gas powered edger for many years, I expected this product to be less powerful but this edger is actually more powerful than I expected. Seems to be a little more difficult to control when using but, hopefully, that will improve as I use it more.

Plenty of Power

Purchased this to replace an old B&D 18V weed eater after my 3rd battery bit the dust. I was intent on buying gas powered, because I have some very thick stuff growing in my backyard, and the 18V wasn’t enough, but my dad talked me into giving this one a shot. Glad I did. It’s got way more punch than I imagined from an electric. I have a smaller yard, but as long as it has enough extension cord, it is light enough and powerful enough to do a large area with little trouble. Also, no worries about...

Don't buy it. Don't even take it for free.

I don't have anything else to add that hasn't already been said on here. Spool is a piece of junk. Motor is right at your hands and the vibration is so bad that if I am fortunate enough for the spool to work and I can use this my hands tingle for 10 minutes afterward. This product should have been recalled the minute someone tried to use it. This is bad enough that I will never buy a black and decker product again for anything. "How often do you use this product?" Should really be never because ...
