Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Residential Wood Playset ( Installation Included )

Chosen for the features

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson. I chose this specific one because of the rope ladder and the slant and spacing of the “rocks” on the rock wall. I had a young friend assemble it for me, took 2 of them about a day. I love the way it looks. The cedar is beautiful and seems sturdy but light weight.

Recommend

Great quality and no trouble putting it together. My 3 year old son loves it and can grow into it.

Wood quality is lacking

The wood isn’t as finished as one would expect for the cost, it’s a bit rough and splintered in some areas. It’s great for right now but it does make me concerned for the longevity of the product which I purchased with the thought it would last for at least a decade.

Its going to cost a lot to build if you hire a man

I had to hire 2 men to put together and it was more than the set because of how long it took them to build 8-9 hours. It is larger then I thought , but my granddaughter just loves it. It looks great and seems sturdy for the most part. My only complaints is the ladder dislodged from the main frame within the first hour of play time. The metal piece that holds it isn't what it needs to hold together. My other thing is that the tarp is a non lasting plastic. A good rainstorm and I'll have to repla...

Amazing

Amazing swingset. Would purchase again and refer friends to also get one. Holds son, nieces, and nephews all at once (3-11 year olds). Instructions were a bit confusing.

The Grandkids Love It!!

Did a lot of research before we settled on the Mount McKinley playset. We are thrilled with the purchase. Was delivered very quickly, faster than expected. All necessary pieces were included as was extra hardware. It's very well constructed and was easy for this grandpa to assemble using the app. The kids love it! We're sure we'll be getting many happy years of use from the Mt. McKinley playset. We highly recommend it.

Kids love it !!!

Best purchase of the year kids love it affordable price for great quality

Kids love it, easy to build.

The play set came together like a charm. It the instruction were super clear and all the pieces were in individual bags. We painted the play set the next day and a year kater it looks brands new stil.

Fun fun fun!!!

Such a great playset for our son and his friends!!

Looks great!

Glad we picked this swing set! Great addition to the backyard. The kiddos love it!!! Husband was able to build it by himself, didn’t have any issues.

Great quality

We just got it set up about a week ago. So far it has been amazing. The quality seems great and it very well secured. It does take a few people to put together but all the pieces were included and the instructions are well written. Overall it’s a great product

Kids love but comes with crappy slide.

Slide that comes with it is so cheap & crappy. Literally thin bendable plastic. We got a better slide to put on it. Everything else is great. Kids loved it was up a week then a tornado came through & demolished it.

Great Playset

We bought this for our two year old and she absolutely loves it! It took my husband and father in law several hours to complete. Definitely a two person job and majority of time was spent on laying out all the pieces.

Solid!

Great solid playground. My 102lb 8 year old absolutely loves his new playground. It's sturdy. Took my husband and I a day to put together. Instructions were a little confusing. We stained/sealed it after we got it put together since we didn't realize we had to do that 1st. It has had 5 kids from 3-11 on it all at once with no problem. A few pieces of wood were damaged when they arrived but customer service was a breeze. New pieces are already on the way. Recommend this to everyone. Would purchas...

Exactly as Expected!

Bought this for our toddler girls and it is perfect! All pieces were present and it took 3 men about 8 hours to put it together. It looks so nice and the kids play on it daily. Would definitely buy again.

Great playset

The set is excellent. It takes a long time to put together but well worth it.
