Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Residential Wood Playset ( Installation Included )

Best gift ever!

We bought this swingset for my grandchildren. My son assembled it himself and the kids love it. They keep thanking us for their swingset. It gives them a nice variety of play options.

My kids love this!

We bought this playset a few months ago and it is still my kids favorite thing to play on. They are 4 and 5 years old and I can see them playing on this for years to come. It took my husband and dad about 7 hours to put up. They didnt have any issues with it and were impressed with the quality.

Great value!

I'm very pleased with my choice of this swing set. I find it to be a good "bang for your buck". My wife and I were able to assemble it ourselves in one day. We also greatly appreciated the 3D model/instructions available through the provided app. Once we started unboxing the swing set there was an easy QR code to download the app and get started. There was also a helpful paper copy of the instructions but the available app made this a seamless process to assemble everything. I'd give the swing s...

Build Not Bad

So the build itself was between 7-10 hours. PAY ATTENTION TO ORIENTATION of wood pieces for sure. Also make sure to keep your pieces organized (there's 5 million screws, bolts, washers) It was helpful using both the 3D Built app as well as the booklet instructions. The booklet provides great piece identification. The 3D app provides great identification or orientation of wood and placement.

A backyard of Fun

my daughter and son-in-law and my two-year-old grandson moved into a house just recently with the draw being the backyard. We obviously needed something fun to fill it with and decided to look for a playground for his second birthday in August. We ordered the Mount McKinley because it was everything that we needed and thought he would enjoy my husband and brother-in-law put it up and it probably took about seven hours to get it done but it was so worth it. My grandson couldn’t wait to get on it ...

Great playground

It Took my husband and one other person 4-5 hours to put together. A few pieces of wood came broken but we easily got replacements for them within 2 days. My son LOVES this playground and so far we are very happy with our purchase. It also shipped way sooner than it estimated it would.

Great swing set

We bought this for our son. So far we love it! It took a while to put together, but the directions were easy to follow.

We love it

The playset took my dad and my husband about 6 hours total to put together. My husband did take everything out of the boxes the night before and organized it all which he said helped. They said the process was pretty straightforward. The kids have been loving it! Seems sturdy and should last us many years. It has attracted some neighborhood kids which I was told may happen when putting in a play set lol. We switched one of the swings for a baby swing so our 1 1/2 year old can swing comfortably. ...

Exactly what we wanted!!

I bought this for my daughters and nieces, and they've already spent endless hours playing on it. Will habe more memories made on their new playset! Assembly was quicker than they estimated, alot of it was able to be done on my own before I needed a hand to hold things together. Instrustioms were simple and spot-on. Strong and sturdy. 10/10 would buy again!

Perfect!

I got this because of someone's review saying they were over 5 ft and could stand up in the fort! I have a 12 and 9 yr old. As well as a 1 and 3 year old. And it's perfect for everyone! I was really searching for a set that everyone could use and not just the Littles and this was perfect! Th older ones lover the rock wall and fort and the Littles love the swings and slide. It took a whole weekend to build, but mostly because my father in law wasn't following the steps in order so they had to bac...

loved how easy it was

I loved using the app to build. It was easy to follow and understand. the rotating option was amazing, and it made understanding board placement on the swing set easier. I would recommend that it tell in type the board number, too, not just the hardware required for each step. there were several times i had to reapate the video to hear the board unber.

10 / 10 Assembly

Easy to Assemble, i did 90% by my self and it only took 8 hours.

So much fun!

Great product once assembled

Shipping is VERY misleading. States ships in 1-3 business days, doesn't tell you actual delivery is about 2 weeks. Comes in 2 boxes, easy to move and assemble with 2 people who understand how to work power tools (would not recommend putting together without a drill or other power tool and someone who knows how to use them well) The amount of different size bolts, screws, nuts, etc. is RIDICULOUS, honestly the manuf. company could save so much money on plastic bags, labeling, & materials if they...

Biggest headache

This has been the biggest headache. Delivery 2 months late. Poor communication with lowes since they use a different service. Finally delivered today and was told slide is separate. It literally says the slide is included 😡

Perfect Play Set

Great play set for kids. Easy construction put together in a day by myself.

Awesome playset!

We just finished putting together our Mount McKinley playset and couldn’t be happier. I was impressed with the wood (all edges rounded, only a couple boards that had some slight warping, no cracks during assembly), the instructions (the BILT app was great), and the final fit and finish. We (2 people) assembled it in about 10hrs and didn’t have any major issues. Strong recommend. Also, shipping was incredibly fast. We ordered on a Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday.

Good quality for the money!

It is a very solid climber. Large deck on playhouse. Good value. Lots of climbing options!
