What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling tiles have a mixed quality, with some customers finding them easy to install and a good value, while others reported significant issues. The main problems were the tiles being fragile and prone to damage, with many arriving already cracked or broken. There were also reports of inconsistent sizing and manufacturing defects that made proper installation difficult. While some customers were able to successfully use the tiles, the overall consensus is that the quality control and durability are poor, and extra tiles may be needed to account for defects.

Would Not RecommendLowes delivery service was very friendly and helpful. The tiles are extremely fragile, very easy to scrape or breaks. Out of the 16 cases I ordered, the equivalent of one case ended up being damaged out of the box, even though there was no visable damage obvious on the outside. Several corners were damaged and several tiles had scratches and dents. Overall be sure to order extra tiles and handle withe extreme care.

Disappointing
Would Not RecommendWe do have a limited budget so we chose these tiles for the dining/kitchen ceiling because we cannot have a drop ceiling. These tiles could be applied directly to the popcorn ceiling. Tiles are very soft and easily damaged without any effort. After putting some up decided not going to use them.

You might find it hard to find glue to put the ceiling tiles up.

Easily damaged
Would Not RecommendThese tiles are total junk, whatever pieces actually aren’t already damaged in the box are likely to break in your hand.

A good looking ceiling
Would RecommendThe Armstrong 12x12 tile is easy to put up on furring strips or glue to GWB. The seams are uniform and joints slide together without binding. A string line or straight edge is necessary to keep joints straight and alined, and you can't be sloppy.

though shipping to store was fine. solid box within a box packing. no visible amage to outside carton and interior carton in good shape, so all tiles were intact and undamaged. product itself is fragile, slight pressure to tightly fit into grooves will damage edge of tile. watch lines carefully as slight gap will quickly mgnify itself and after few subsequent tile additions lines are noticeable off. but overall, fairly easy to install.

Poor quality, difficult to work with
Would Not RecommendNumerous tiles in the box had only one edge for stapling, instead of two. Other tile had different manufacturing defects including the tongue edge being too wide, and the tiles being cut crookedly. They were also not uniform in size, ranging from 11 5/8ths to 12 1/8.

The tile looks great.
Would Not RecommendWe purchased the Easy Up track clip system. The tracks went up very fast but piecing the tiles together with clips took longer that anticipated. For a 12x8 room, took all day to complete.

Good tile for the type of tile
Would RecommendI am not a real fan of paper-based tiles, but had to replace a bathroom ceiling that collapsed in a dishwasher flood. Nice looking tiles, easy to install!

Perfect for our needs
Would RecommendThese were purchased to replace same style tiles that were damaged from a leak in our roof. They look good. Shipment arrived earlier than expected which was a plus. No damaged tiles as they were double boxes. Happy with the purchase.

Was concerned about damaged tiles from other reviews as I knew they were pretty fragile. Armstrong must have been listening because mine were 100% perfect. Packaging was great and Lowe's handled them without any damage. Used them to repair water damage and these matched the originals , a coat of paint on entire area and good as new.

OK tiles
Would RecommendWe used these tiles on our sons’ bedroom ceiling. Several of the tiles in the box were damaged in a way that crushed the linking portion and made them more difficult to snap together. Overall- they were functional and look nice once assembled.

Great if your repairing an older Ceiling!
Would RecommendThese tiles work great if you're repairing a ceiling that already has them! Maybe you had a leaking roof and 6 or 8 tiles needs replacing! They are easy to work with if you're crafty. Fifty bucks for repair better than replacing the whole ceiling, five hundred bucks!!
