What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling tiles have a mixed quality, with some customers finding them easy to install and a good value, while others reported significant issues. The main problems were the tiles being fragile and prone to damage, with many arriving already cracked or broken. There were also reports of inconsistent sizing and manufacturing defects that made proper installation difficult. While some customers were able to successfully use the tiles, the overall consensus is that the quality control and durability are poor, and extra tiles may be needed to account for defects.

Would RecommendThis tile was a good option to replace a water damaged ceiling that was going to require a lot of work to patch. This tile is very easy to install, but it is very fragile and requires gentle handling. Very easy to trim with utility knife. Ceiling looks great with new tile.

Good Value, Good price
Would RecommendHad a 16 x24 room to put a new ceiling into. It was to low to put in a suspended ceiling. Put up furing strips ant this ceiling tile. Went up easy as pie. Only caution... Clean the flash before you put it up, and make sure you square your room before you begin. Any DIY should have no problem putting it up. Nice look when its finished I would use it again for another room if I needed to. Thing is It was hard to find in the stores in my area [ north Florida ]. Went to Georgia, where it was in stoc...
A Hard To Find Tile At A VERY Low Price.
Would RecommendThis is a hard to find tile but got a whole box at a great price to replace/repair the existing tile I have. They are just very hard to work with for replacing other tiles with their tongue in groove design.
I hate these stupid things!
Would Not RecommendThey are super fragile so they are easy to damage even if installing them correctly. Where I am(Paterson,NJ) these things are all over the place. The main problem with them is repairing them when they start to sag after 20 years or if they get damaged by water or something else. If it happens at the end where they were installed first it is really difficult to interlock them, secure them and make it look nice. I would much prefer sheet rock or a drop ceiling.
Armstrong Ceiling Tile
Would RecommendOverall I was very pleased with the product quality, value, design and features. The only suggestion I can make is that the installation instruction be available for download on the web page. This would allow the installation planning to be done in advance, and provide time to order staples, staple guns and proper glue products before the product actually arrives. The tiles are somewhat fragile near the edges, as might be expected. Since the instructions are in the center of the box, one is like...

easy to install and finished product looks very good. Must be careful during installation as the tiles are easily damaged if too much pressure is used. definitely intend to use these tiles in other rooms in my house.

unbelieveable!
Would RecommendMy dad and I bought this exact tile in 1969 from Lowes and did our whole rec. room downstairs. A few months ago, I had to remove half of the room because of a water leak. I was shocked to find that 42 years later that Lowes still carries this tile though not surprised cause the other half of this room has the original tile and still looks great!
