Garbage

Bought these in October of 2023, used for two months went to relight them after sitting through the summer and the pilot doesn't light anymore, Lowes won't help and neither will the Master Forge company saying it's outside of the 1 year warranty. Ok, so you sell a seasonal item with coverage that is only one year? Makes no sense...

GARBAGE

only worked twice, this thing is a piece of garbage, remote does not work no matter how many times you reset it, only the pilot will light, burners will not.

Thermostat

The thermostat does not allow for the fire to continue burning. My last set was a continuous burn.

Needed to purchase extra parts.

Easy install once you buy all the needed attachments.

Thermostat not accurate, poor customer support

The log set was easy to install, and set up for LPG. Overall, the gas logs works pretty good. However the remote constantly display that the room is 99 degrees. Therefore, the thermostat won't work because the flame cuts off immediately and the max temp. setting on the remote is 99 degrees. Long story short, I called the technical support number and they told me that the remote is displaying the efficiency that the log set is burning at 99% efficiency. I'll be calling back, if they don't suppor...

control module stops working

order back in 2022 and worked fine the first winter. winter of 23-24 control module stopped working. got a replacement one and all was good. once again trying to set it up for the winter and the control module is not working AGAIN. would never buy this junk again. waste of $450.

Great Logs!

The logs are easy to light and have a thermostat, so it doesn't get too hot.

Looks Nice but Not very Useful

Set looks excellent. Logs are very realistic and pleasant looking. Burner is nice and warm. The main problem is the thermostat. It comes with a hardwired thermocouple that gives you a few feet of stiff cable. Once the air within that range of the fireplace heats up to some mysterious temperature you set with a knob the burner shuts off. So if you want to warm up a room its pretty much useless unless you stick that thermocouple in a cup of cold water away from the heat.

BEWARE SELLING DEFECTIVE RETURNED SETS AS NEW

I needed two of these and had to get them from two different Lowes in two different cities upon get them home I discovered they were returned item being sold as NEW! Both had been resealed with clear tape so you couldn't tell they had been opened one had a piece of paper inside the parts box with the burner saying "REMOTE DOESN"T WORK RETURNED" and the other didn't even have the remote transmitter or the receiver that hooks to the burner to turn it on or off but you could tell it had been hooked...

Checked shipped products

Had to order this product from another lowes . When it came in it was missing the sensor and remoted. Also it had been marked down to 136.97 but they charged me the full amount of 419.00

Always double check

Went in to the story to order this. They asked when we would like to come pick it up. We told them Friday. We called and they said it wasn’t there should be here by 1/30/24. Had not heard anything from them. They called. Did not leave a voicemail. We drove 45 minutes to Lowe’s and when we got there. They told us it wasn’t there and that it wouldn’t be coming in, that they no longer made it. But just last week they looked it up and we paid for it.

Great replacement Fireplace

I am delighted with the Allen+Roth dual burner vent-free gas fireplace I purchased from Lowes Hardware using the online platform. The 30,0000-BTU fireplace is sufficient to heat my 2,200 sqft, two-level home. Great logs

This is the only way to have a fireplace and price was great! The instructions are a bit lacking...small cards and print...also, the positions of log 2 and log 3 where listed backward. IDK if the logs were improperly numbered or if its the description, but I finally figured it out from online pics tho.
