Great Addition to Shop Tools

I used to sharpen my shop tools with a file or grinding wheel. This handy little tool makes quick work of most kitchen, shop or garden knives and tools. Several adjustments of the action end allow you to get to the dull blade easily.

Very nice sharpener

The “Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener Mk.2” has 3 slots for sharpening- the 2 at the top both support 20 or 25 degree blades, there is a 3rd slot lower for scissors at 65 degrees. Works wonders

Was very unsure at first on this. Seemed pretty difficult to set up and use plus I already had a knife sharpener but this thing is awesome. Easy to use, leaves razor sharp edges and not as loud as I expected. I had some dull knives and know I want to sharpen everything. Would definitely recommend.

A Sharpener That Really Works

Pros: Makes sharpening knives, scissors, mower blades and even axes a relatively easy task. It is easy to control and operates predictably. Inclusion of built-in guides for sharpening various knife blades (including serrated blades) a welcome feature. Quiet operation. Easy to change-out belts. Cons: Belts wear out a little faster than I anticipated and a fine grit belt shredded during operation.

I was expecting great results from this knife and tool sharpener. I was let down. The plastic body feels too flimsy while grinding. The sanding belts are too thin, they will wear out too fast. It has a few different settings and positions it can be placed in to sharpen different items, from knives & scissors to axes and mower blades, so it took a little time to review to make sure I had the guides in their proper positions. This sharpener works great on knives. I used it on all of our kitchen knifes. Easy to use and does an excellent job of putting a sharp cutting edge on the knives. Tool comes with and assortment of belts in different grits. I really like how easy the sharpener is easy to use. Says it will do other tools with an edge as well. Sharpest knife in the drawer

I have alway been terrible at sharpening anything other than a pencil. So I got this in hopes of improving my skills. I would like to say that overnight they changed but they didn't. One look at it, you make think it’s a small belt sander. But it is a tool that has sharpened my wife’s long awaited kitchen knives. Easy to use

I tried to upload a video but the file was too large, anyway I took a couple screen shots from the video. I took an very old and "ratty" pair of garage sisors and just ran them through 4o or times then re-cut, and it really made a difference. Easy and fast,, I will do it a couple more times and i am sure these will be as good new. The only thing I am not sure I like is that it is belt driven for the sharping,, so I see me buying many belts over time. I would have liked if it had changeable grind...

This sharpener was just what I needed. It sharpened a variety of my tools. I sharpened both a kitchen knife and my army multi-purpose knife. All blades came out sharper than I expected. Time will tell how long the belts last. The tool itself is lite-weight. The quick start guide is very helpful to set up and use the device.
