Great Sharpening Tool

What a great tool to have around to sharpen those dull blades. I tried this out on my kitchen knives and it did great in sharpening a dull knife. There are different belts with different grits to use to sharpen scissors to knives and other tools. I thought it would be harder to use but after setup, the use was very easy. Changing belts was also very easy. Just a simple push down, twist, remove and then add the new belt.

A Great Sharpener

I am totally amazed as to how easy this sharpener allows sharpening of knives as that is all I have tried to sharpen so far. It put a fine edge on each knife I sharpened, especially, my kitchen knives. I had seen this unit on TV before and marveled as to how easy it looked to sharpen knives. It did just that. Great sharpener

I have used this Work Sharpener to sharpen my filet knives that I use to filet fish and trim pork butts for BBQ. It is easy to use and puts more than an adequate edge on my filet knives. I also sharpened the wife's kitchen knives and the sharpener did an excellent job on some older, cheaper knives that weren't being used because of dullness. Works nice- a little hard to understand initially

After unpacking the sharpener, I thought it would be “heavier” than what it really is. It’s not a heavy grade plastic that it’s made of, so I’m not sure how long it will last if treated roughly. So easy!

Two passes and my pocket knife was immediately sharper. Wow! Completely sold on this product. I’m really amazed how quick it was. Never thought it would be able to work so quickly. You could sharpen every knife in your house in less than 10 minutes.

Super easy to use and works great!

This knife sharpener is my first electric sharpener. It works with both kitchen knives and pocket knives. It comes with 6 sanding bands. Instructions are easy to follow. It takes just a few seconds to make a knife back to better than new!

Easy to use

If you have a dull scissors and knives, this is the tool you need. Set up was very easy, and it comes with a guide to easily walk you through the sharpening process, with illustrations and descriptions. Great sharpener but pretty complicated to use.

This sharpener is very versatile, as it will sharpen kitchen knives, serrated blade and semi-serrated blade knives, hunting and pocket knives, fillet knives, scissors and can be used as a grinder for garden tools and lawnmower blades. Several caveats: it is not an industrial use tool. This is made for household use and I probably wouldn’t ever use it as a grinder, as the belts are narrow. Sharpens knives and scissors well

This tool sharpens smaller items like knives and scissors easily, but struggled to sharpen thicker steel items like hatchets, even with the more course green belt. An ax would definitely push this tool to it’s limit. Changing belts was easy. Noticed when putting the tool back in “park” position that there was no “notch” to lock it into position. Camera flash made pictures hard to see the before and after pictures in great detail.- but it did work well with knives

Knives have NEVER been sharper!

It takes some effort to become familiar with this tool. I sharpened kitchen knives, scissors and garden tools. The knives are incredibly sharp. We have had our knives professionally sharpened before but this exceeds those result. I purposely chose the worst knife in the house: one we never used because we could never get it sharp. Nice tool. I’ve sharpened everything I can get my hands on. Biggest difference was in a chefs knife I’ve had for years. I knew it was fairly dull, but I really had no idea. The tool has two settings (kitchen or other knife) and a rest and guide combo that aid in maintaining the blade angle. I used it without watching the video. Love this sharpener.

This is a great little sharpener. Within the first half hour of use, I had sharpened 5 chisels and 8 knives. This sharpener is ready to go out of the box. Knife sharpening is the strong suit of this tool, chisels and other tools it does a decent job. This is by far the easiest method I have ever used.

I had my doubts about how good this would sharpen a knife, but after using it, my other sharpeners are going in storage. Sharpest Sharpener in my toolbox , Nice tool

I was very skeptical about this electric knife sharpener as I have for over 35 years used a stone and sharpened my knives by hand which took a long time but always got the job done. I was very impressed as from the time I open the sharpener up and watched a couple of videos on how to use it that I was sharpening over 8 knives within 40 minutes beginning to end and they were very very sharp I couldn’t be happier with this product. I've been looking for a reliable knife sharpener

I've been in the hunt for a good reliable knife sharpener for a while. This does the trick! Gives a repeatable sharp edge on whatever knife you have. It's not hard or tricky, but whatever knife you have in mind when you get this, don't let it be the first knife you sharpen. Because it is an electric powered belt sander, you have the ability to also absolutely destroy your knife if you don't use it correctly.

It's sharp

We have some cheap kitchen knives that are extremely dull and chipped. I have tried different kinds of sharpeners and nothing. So I didn't have high hopes for this one, but to our surprise it sharpened the cheap knife so well that I can cut paper with them. I also have a pair of scissors that were rusted and did not cut anything. So I said what the heck let me try them. Boy this did the job. The scissors cut like new. So overall it works well for my needs

Pretty good, but not pro-level.

Over-all I found this sharpener to be pretty good. It is a fast. easy system to get a reasonably sharp edge on most knives and scissors. I would not recommend it for any heavy-duty sharpening or grinding such as mower blades or axes. Good selection of belts are included, however, I would have liked to have two stropping belts instead of the single one include.
