Sharpens even the hardest to sharpen knives

The Work Sharp sharpener is easy to use. It sharpened knives that were hard to sharpen due to the hardness of the steel. I try to keep my knives sharp but have a few that have very hard steel and my sharpening steel does not work. I got new edges on them with the medium grade band and then hones them to a very sharp edge. It is a little more cumbersome than just using the sharpening steel but it works great on those hard to sharpen knives.

Easy to use and it works!

I finally have a knife sharpener that really works! Well built, easy to use, multiple sharpening capabilities and my knifes are very sharp now. Great instructions and the Work Sharp web site has a great video that shows how to sharpen most every knife, scissors and blade there is. Highly recommend!

Makes knives like new!

Very easy to use and almost magically makes knives like new. Transformational on older knives. Takes a few seconds and your done. Check out the before and after photos. Amazingly sharp now. Also very quiet to use. Great device!

Sharpens as well as anything out there

This sharpener can be a little bit intimidating. I worked through all the pictures and instructions and was still left with a little doubt as to how exactly it was going to work. However, there is a great online video you can access that makes everything pretty simple and after viewing it, I was able to use the sharpener just as intended. Super sharpener

I always prided myself on keeping my knives sharp. I used a pull through carbide sharpener and then a steel to finish it off. The MK2 takes it to a new level of sharpness. It uses small sanding belts and a honing belt for super sharpness. Tried this on some knives I used on the last butcher I hadn't got to yet. Works great. Couple trial runs to get the feel and whipped right through the sharpening. Nice clean edges and sharp enough to use for the next job. Used a couple different belts just to see how easy it was to change them out. Had a little problem the first time with alignment not right. Very Good Overall; but Belts Could Be More Durable

The first thing I'd like to say is that this is one tool whose instructions you should read. It's actually very easy to use once you do; but it's not very intuitive, and the quick-start guide is rather sparse. Reading the instructions will make things a lot easier. Simple and efficient

This knife sharpener is simple to use and quickly touches up dinged blades. I used it to sharpen a couple folding pocket and fixed blade knives, it makes short work of sharpening dull blades, but also works to clean up very damaged blades. The sharpening belts are easy to interchange as needed, and the quick start/how-to guide is helpful for choosing the correct configuration depending on knife condition.

Very handy sharpener

This power Knife and Tool Sharpener really works! It is stable sitting on the workbench ready for you to sharpen knives, scissors and many other tools that occasionally need sharpening. Before this handy sharpener, I was throwing away scissors as they seamed to get dull too quickly. First time I saved a pair of scissors. I sharpened a couple of my knives. It is so easy to use and comes with different grit sand paper.

This is a very ingenuous device that will quickly sharpen a variety of blades including knives, scissors, axes, pruners, shears, and mower. It is also ideal for sanding and polishing. It came with two coarse grinding belts, two medium knife sharpening belts and two fine belts for honing the edge after sharpening. I have already put this to use on several knives. It works wonderful and my knive are very sharp! I plan on sharpening more knives and some tools also. This is a great little sharpener. I have a video of it working and sharpening a knife but it won’t let me load it! Has to be a u tube video! Why?

Sharp!!!

Instantly loved this product. Watched a quick YouTube video on how to use it and took an old dull kitchen knife and turned it into a crazy sharp beast. This kitchen knife wouldn't even score a piece of paper it was so dull, but will now slice right through it. Amazing

Does what it says. Small enough to hold in your hand and operate or place it on a surface. I was a butcher for years never used anything like this before. It truly does sharpen knifes well.

Having already owned the Work Sharp Ken Onion edition knife and tool sharpener for a couple of years and possessing the blade grinder attachment, the MK2 I was sent for testing was a welcomed addition. Awesome tool! I think I have sharpened every kitchen knife and pocket knife that I have. It's very easy to use. With the guides it is very easy to get repeatable cuts.
