Dusk to Dawn Light

Regretfully would not work flashed on & off in the dark.

Lowe's shouldn't sell this product.

I purchased a total of four from Lowe's in two different states before I saw these terrible reviews. Each of the four didn't work properly and would never shut off. Lowe's should pull this product from their shelves and stop selling it.

Don't Buy This!

As everybody else has noted, it doesn't work. In my case it won't shut off regardless of how much light is focused directly on the sensor. Find another brand.

Bought 2 neither works!

Screwed in to multiple lights to test, neither worked. Will be returning both. Dont waste your gas or money.

Woods Pro dusk to dawn

Put it in afternoon and it thought it was night!!! Wasted time and money

Faulty from the beginning.

2nd time around with this product. Bought a while back, never worked. Thought it may have been a bad sensor. Found out myself they are all junk. Should have read the reviews first. Not a single good review. Why does Lowe's even bother. Returning for my money back.

JUNK!

Sadly these are low quality Chinese junk like just about everything you buy today. they don't work consistently, and there is no way to aim the photocell when you screw it in the socket. Nothing this company makes is any good as I tried their floodlight dusk to dawn controls and they don't work right either.

Do not function properly

Could not get these to function right. One would go on and off all night, the other would not turn off during daylight. Also instructions are lacking, no description for correct usage of the added tubes in the package.

Great Concept, Bad Delivery

Turns off and on throughout night. Neighbors laughing at me. Any light that shows, the unit will turn off.

Stay far away

I only ever write a review if something blows me away or just blows. This is the latter. Piece of junk. Wish I had looked up reviews prior to purchasing.

Poor - Cause bulb to stick out of lantern

I loved the concept of these, but their execution is poor. The socket extends the bulb about 2 inches, which results in the bulb sticking out of the lantern and looks ridiculous. I will look for other options like a light switch timer instead.

instructions lacking!

Instructions say nothing about the tubes in the package. I thought they were packing material. Took me 2 days of troubleshooting to figure out.

Pure junk!

A photocell automates the switching off and on the light depending on the ambient light. Simple, right? Not so for this useless piece of junk! They are ALWAYS defective. I went through 25-30 of them - buying and returning - needing only 4 of them. They were all defective! Either from the get go, or after about 1 week of use, turning on but never off in daytime. Unfortunately, there is no zero star rating!

Problems

On my second Woods Photocell. Both have failed to work properly. Don't waste your time and money with this product. Front porch light does go on at dusk, but shuts off at night. Very poor technology. Had a similar product 25 yrs ago w/o any problems.

Bought 5 of them ! Don’t turn on and off ! Useless!! Piece of JUNK !!

Waste of natural resources used to produce this
