Short Life Period

This washer and dryer work, but not for long. My dryer went out after a year and 3 months. That cost $400. Then, it went out again 2 months later and have to have a cord replaced. Now, my washer is out and its the mother board which will cost $220 for just the part AND it could potentially be BOTH main pieces, but we won't know until trying to fix the first. Meaning I could end up paying a total of $600 to get the washer running..... NOPE. I am getting an LG.

Excellent washer. Low power and water consumed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My personal opinion. I love this washer. Works excellent and save water and the detergents. Consume low energy. I just hit power on, fill the caps, 55 minutes later my family clothes is clean.

Incredibly poor design for routine maintenance

You can't access the filter to clean it without breaking down the whole whole machine. Other front loading washers we have had in the past had an access to the front to clean the filter. On this unit the filter inaccessible. Incredibly poor thought out design for the user to be able to perform routine maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes clothes really well and quick. Clothes come out much softer and cleaner than with the previous washer. My only concern is that there is not an accessible clean out. The only reason why I replaced my older washer was that it stunk. But it at least had an access panel in the front. I had to drain that after every,(EVERY) wash. This unit cannot be cleaned. I don’t understand

It okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this thing for three months and still trying to figure it out. Shouldn’t need an aerospace degree to run a washing machine. Already had to have a service call for a plugged drain screen. Not as good a machine as our old Whirlpool front load. That thing gave absolutely no problems for years until the main bearing went bad.

Quiet, Efficient and Powerful....

Whirlpool Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our old Whirlpool washer which lasted 6 years. The touch tab is fussy and I worry about it breaking down in the future. Otherwise a great machine. I believe they are discontinuing it.

Drain cycle needs to be re-examined.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 2 months ago the towel cycle stopped draining completely. I have to use the repeat drain and spin cycle every time for towels. Occasionally, other cycles do the same. After 90% of each wash, there is a small amount of water just at the front of the machine, as though there is a tear in the front gasket or something. I do like most of the special features.

Have not put the dryer back yet but the mounting system is same as the Amana so I don't anticipate any issues. Loved the Amana and this is practically the same. Likes: good selection of cycles plus this model has a slightly larger tub and has a couple of extra features like steam. Like choices for cycles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far cleans well. Dries nicely. Gave 4 stars because forced to use liquid detergent or pods as cold wash leaves detergent in drawer! Plus pieces of soap on clothes.

Very good washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really liking my new washer. At least I'm not washing with dirty water like I was with my old one. This new one has taken some getting used to. I'm not crazy about some of the settings taking an hour and a half. But it's definitely better than what I had.

It’s fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Louder than previous LG washer and I don’t like having to keep the door open for so long to keep mold from growing. But it’s washing the clothes just fine and is easy to program.

The company would not publish my review

Simply as I stated facts, that this machine washes well but gitches often. You have to do a restart when it gets stuck. Similar to a computer
