Great Unit

I have enjoyed this washer. Easy to use, the booklet was very helpful with laundry sizes and cycles. Only downfall is the duration of the cycles, but my clothes are getting clean and they aren't getting worn out so quickly. Another thought, the clean washer cycle...should have some type of warning that it's getting close to needing to be clean. Have had many "sudden" trips to the store to buy the "Afresh". Very satisfied with this purchase

Great Features!

Love the stream cycle on the dryer! I can throw a wrinkled blouse in for a few minutes and it comes out fresh like it was dry cleaned!

Love options for wrinkle control.

We purchased this product because I was frustrated with the way my old machines wrinkled the clothes. I would literally stand by the machine to stop the spin cycle or everything was a tangled mess. This machine offers a 'hand wash' and 'delicate' cycle that works wonders. The dryer has a feature that will buzz and stop the cycle when it senses the clothes are still damp. Really nice washer.

This is a great washer. I had always wanted a front load washer and now I have one. It was kind of expensive, but it was worth it. I am now getting ready to purchase my dryer. I recommend this product to anybody. My family just loves the machine and I am also glad I was able to get in a color besides white. Thanks again!

takes forever to wash

this washer adds over an hour to your wash load sometimes. The "Quick Wash" had to be meant for only one light item to really only take 22 minutes. I had an LG washer before the duet and loved it. It really did do a quick wash. I know the duet senses how heavy your load is and adds time accordingly but it adds almost an hour and that is ridiculous for a young mother on laundry day. my advice...buy an LG!

Well made, but prone to problems.

This is my second Whirpool Duet washing machine because I really liked the first one even though it failed after only 8 years. The new machine is also a front loader and has nice features. However, the main control board went after less than 3 mos. Very inconvenient. Took 3 weeks to get repaired.

Worth the wait!

We waited for over a year for a new washer. Initially, we thought our dryer was the problem our clothes were taking forever to dry, taking 2-3 cycles before the clothes were dry. We decided we wouldn't buy anything new until the unit quit. Well, the washing machine quit before the dryer. The first load with our new Whirlpool Duet and we realized our dryer was working just fine. All along it was the washer that was the problem! We love the ease of the new washer & can get our loads done faste...

This product has great features. The ease of use is great. The amount of work it is capable of doing and still being able to do a superior job is outstanding. I am sure the amount of money this product is going to save me is going to make up for buying a more expensive model in the long run. Very pleased now that we decided to buy a premium model instead of the economy model. Quality always pays.

I really like this product, is simple and easy to use.

Product has many features to choose from.

This was probably the best purchase I have ever made. I not only can wash more laundry at a time, but it comes out of the wash machine way dryer than it did before. This in return has cut down on my dry time. I absolutely LOVE this product, could not live without it!!!

Everything I was hoping for.

This is the first front loader I've ever had. I love saving water and money and being able to look in on everything. We really love it.

Its great but....

The only thing I dont give the wash machine a full great rating is that after a load, there is hair or light dirt on lip below door. take care looking items dont get caught under rubber drain. leave a litte 5 inch gap from inside when loading clothes, dont pack. and water remains in soap dispenser when load is done, I make sure I pull out and drain, and leave to dry before putting back. Bought dryer also, no problems allll great. Oh a straight walls side by side. dont try to fit in square room. ...

Good product with some downsides

This product cleans well butch clothing gets tangled together easily. The prepackaged soap does not dissolve well and gets stuck in the rubber rims. When I load it heavily the drum seems unstable.This is my third of these types of washers from whirlpool. They keep breaking and having expensive issues.

Excellent!!

Best washer and dryer i have ever had. Does a phenomenal jobn of making everything super clean - the whites are VERY white!! Love how there are so many options to choose and the sound level is very low.Love them!!

great dryer, great performance

I love the fan fresh option so the load keeps tumbling occassionally without getting wrinkled

Busted after 2 years

As new homeowners we "spoiled" ourselves on a washer and dryer. Started squeaking a while ago and just decided to call Whirlpool. The service tech came and told us it is a bearing that went and needed to replace. $810 dollars, that is what the washer is worth. The service tech mentioned that Maytag and Whirlpool have a lot more of this happening. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY ANOTHER WASHER.
