Would RecommendI just got this Duet set for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely LOVES IT. We used to do laundry all weekend but not anymore! You can barely hear it when it's running and our laundry room is right next to out bedroom. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Would RecommendBought this washer because of it's number one ranking in consumer reports. Absolutely love it.! Super quiet and the largest front load washer I've ever seen! My old washer made lots of noise and didn't spin out very well, but this thing almost dries the clothes inside the washer with how fast it spins. LOVE MY NEW WASHER!!

Would Not RecommendI am not sure where to begin! This was my first front loader washer and was so happy, but after 45 days it broke so I was so sad. The whrilpool guy came out - I was getting a F-11 code which is not explained in your book but it means that your memory board unit is fried and has to be replaced. And if you do not have a warntee it would be $275.00 just for the memory board. The repair guy told me that it was because I had it in my garage. Would RecommendFirst the salesman made arrangements with the delivery department to get it to me early the next morning. Our really old washer rusted through and I had a soapy down comforter that I was afraid of losing to mold. The installers were quick, efficient and very polite. The machine needs special HE soap (same price as regular detergent. It uses only 2/3 cup of bleach and you can definitely thin your fabric softner with a little water and still get excellent results. Would RecommendWe had a first generation Whirlpool Duet that worked okay but this new one is fantastic! It is quiet, does not vibrate, clothes are very clean, smells good and was a great buy at $799 from Lowe's. This machine is built in Clyde, OH by proud American workers. The pedestals were a great buy at $125 because it raises the machine to a comfortable level. No, I do not work for Whilpool.

Would Not RecommendI bought this washing machine on 11-7-2010. The first one kept rinsing in hot water. I exchanged it for another one before the 7 days was up. I have to say that it does wash great. Everything seems to come out clean. A normal wash cycle takes an hour. I can finally keep my laundry done. I have 3 children and I couldn't keep up with all the washing with my small top loader. It has a lot of room to wash large loads at one time. I can wash comforters without them getting tangled up around an agitat...
Incredible capacity
Would RecommendI have been shopping for a front loading washer for some time. Purchased the 5.0 Duet. It's amazing. Holds incredible amounts of clothes (can wash eight normal loads in three now). So quiet, one has to listen for it to ensure it's working. The spin cylce is amazing. Can't say enough good about this machine. Never thought I'd be looking for things to wash! Thank you Whirlpool and Lowes.

Would RecommendWe had an older Whirlpool, one with an agitator, and we were thinking of geting the cabrio but the sales guy talked us into this model and all I can say is I love it! I can wash so much in one load I'm in my laundry room half as much as i used to be. It's quiet and nice to look at. I definitly recommend.

Would RecommendAfter researching many different options on what would be options that I would use and then waited to take advantage of a sale... this washer and dryer match turned out to be an excellent buy! Does a great job cleaning the clothes and love the whitest white feature...with each wash my t-shirts are whiter and whiter...you can see and feel the difference after the first wash. The wash spins out so much water the dryer runs 1/4 of the time needed before. After 15-20 washes I can certainly appreciat...
