Great Duo Duet

After 10 years of using another major brand, we switched to Whirlpool after reading a very favorable report in Consumer Reports. We later learned from the salesperson at the local store that the washer was USA made. We purchased the duo with the extra drawers making it easier to store products and not have to reach up to shelves above. A much better use of space.. Both machines have a clean, modern design, which is what one wants in a laundry room.

Nothing bad to say about this washing machine. It has easy function selection and easy to set up according to what kind of wash load you may have. The size allows us to wash blankets with no problem

Very time saving ( my time)

I love that I can preset it to go on while I am out doing errands, and it's ready to go in the dryer when I get home. I also love the timer, so I know exactly when it is finished washing and time for me to go down to take it out....so it doesnt get wrinkled sittting in the machine..

Very happy with this product

Only one very minor issue with the washer. The holes in door gasket have become clogged with hair a few times. Hard to manually clear out. Otherwise no complaints at all.

I really enjoy how your clothes have less wear from washing & the less water it uses to wash clothes. The time & amount saves so much time washing for a large family. The different cycles it also has gives you to choose from. It saves on our electric & water bills.

Excellent Product but It Pays to Read the Manual!

Quiet and really cleans clothes. However, be sure to use HE laundry detergent in small amounts. Due to the nature of the front loader washing machine, it uses alot less water and soap to efficiently clean clothes. Too much soap is not only wasteful, but leads to problems with proper rinsing.

This product is a bang for the buck!!

I have 3 kids that play a lot of sports and are girls besides. I do about 2 full loads of wash a day besides I work doing hair out of my house so I have lots of towels to wash besides. This washer and dryer are the best 2 investments I've made in a long time. Highly recommend them they are quite, efficient, and do a great job!

Great American made product.

After being laid off, I purchased this washer, party because it was American made. It washes very well on a small amount of water. My only complaint is that it takes long as it has to try and balance out the load during the spin cycle. However, the spin cycle gets rid of most of the water, and the drying time is greatly reduced.

Great product

This is my first experience with computerized smart technology on this washer/dryer combo. I was sceptical at first but I am very pleased with the products capabilities.I would like to see an added feature that runs heated air into the washing chamber to dry out the drum after expelling the wash. This would eliminate the odors of stagnant water or having to do a wipe down of the rubber seal.

The washer cycles take longer then what is shown. I would have liked a more explicit instruction manual for the cycles. I think because the water is so hard the clothes don't seem to be as clean. ( I came from a location that had good water.)But they do offer a verity of cycle options, are quiet, and beautiful. I never had a front load washer before so it takes some getting use to. Sometimes I would like to have an option that would add more water to the cycle. I also either have to leave the do...

Really like steam refresh for wrinkled sweaters, sweatshirts and the like.Allergen setting is quite useful since there is a lot of pollen and mold in Augusta.The dryer has sanitize setting I use for pillows and dog beds.Two complaints:1.). The soap dispenser tray falls out when I pull it out far enough to add bleach. Very problematic!2.). Delicate dry setting has yet to dry anything completely except the lightest silks.

I have wanted a front load washer since they came out. I went with Whirlpool, because I knew firsthand that their products work well and last. I absolutely love my new front load washer!!! Its easy to use, quiet, and an energy saver. I couldn't ask for more in a product!
