Work horse!

After 20 years of no raking there was plenty of thatch in the lawn. This little machine did a very good job of removing it.

Does the job

Better than detaching by hand. Would like a battery powered version at a similar price.

So Far So Good

Assembly was fairly easy. Lucky I read the reviews and remembered to add the cord holder. I was able to try both blades with two passes before it started raining. Seems to work properly.

Lawn Aerator/Dethatcher

This is a workhorse. I dethatched for my entire lawn over a two-day period without the bagger. The bag would have filled too fast and hindered my work so I used my lawn leaf blower to capture the dethatched grasses to dispose of. Even with the electrical cord needed to operate I completed the project myself. One safety measure that is not addressed in the instruction booklet that is very important to consider is - 'Call Before You Dig', 811 in CT - especially if you are going the added depth...

Wonderful

The dethatcher rake works well. I have not used the aerator / scarifier blade. I mainly got this unit for the dethatcher. Renting one for 2 seasons would easily pay for this unit so I decided to buy this instead of renting. The unit seems light but it works well and as intended. Very easy to put together and to operate. Good price too.

Great product, powerful motor and easy to use.

This de-thatcher was very easy to assemble and was very light and powerful for it's size. Living here in the south we are plagued with red clay that can be as hard as concrete but it had no problems going through it when using the aerator. When using the thatcher it also was a breeze however it does cause a lot of dust even when using the supplied bag.

Best dethatcher

This machine does a great job of dethatching. I couldn't believe how much dead grass was in my lawn until I used this. Lawn looks much better.

Powerful and effortless

This thing is powerful! I walked just about 3 steps and it has collected and shredded so much grass and resurfaced the dirt beneath with self propel power. And thats using the blade that came attached, but there's also another blade that comes with it for even more precision. I set my gear to 2 it has 4 settings but I'd recommend starting with the highest number which makes the dethacther taller off the ground. Assembly was pretty easy. Works well for a smaller lawn. Terrible assembly instructions, but workable if you follow the fly assembled picture instead of the instructions

Perfect

I have a very small yard and this is the perfect size to get a ton of thatch up! My grass looks really terrible because of all the thatch

Functional and lightweight

I bought this for the spring clean up! Glad to have it for both detaching and scarifying.

Unpacked, assembled and used the de-thatcher mode on yard. So far happy with the results. Will wait to see how the scarfier woks in the fall.

Great small Detacher

I bought this because of the price and reviews. I haven't use it yet but looks like it will do the job i need. I'll make a review in the following week. As of now I'll stick to the reviews.
