Would Not RecommendReturned the item as I found it wasn't dethatching or pucking up the dead grass all the way.
This thing is scarifying
Bought this a couple of weeks ago to tear up my lawn. Started with the dethatcher which was not the way to go. After dethatching the whole thing and taking all that to the yard waste I switched and there was twice as much stuff with the scarifyer. Did a great job and I'll just start with the blades first next time!

Much better than anticipated!
Would RecommendI bought this tool a month ago and have used both the thatcher and aerator on a 10,000 ft2 lawn twice with no issues. I was pleasantly surprised how good a job it did. The thatcher bag filled up relatively fast which is both good and bad. The adjustable height aerator dug in just enough to turn the soil but not destroy grass. I was expecting the job to take a lot longer but the machine moved right along. The interchangeable blades were quite easy. Overall very impre4ssed.

Would RecommendWestinghouse 13 in corder electric dethatcher was easy to assemble and the weight of the overall item and size makes it easy to use for almost anyone. It worked great to dethatch the area of the lawn that greatly needed it. The build of it does have you concerned due to the fact it is 80% plastic. The debris bag was very small and could not hold very much until you had to empty it out. I had to empty out atleast 8 times for the area i used it on. The fact that it is coreded is a drawback as well...

Nice addition to your home gardening needs.
Would RecommendThis unit is a nice addition to your home gardening needs and should help keep your lawn looking healthy. The assembly instructions are not themost clear but their are not a lot of pieces to put together so it is not that big of an issue. The unit is surprising light for what it does and changing the blades is an easy process. You will need to get use to the cord (they recommend a 10/12 G if you will be using this at a great distance from the power source) as it can be cumbersome.
