Would RecommendThis dethatcher was easy to assemble and use. I had it from box to running in about 20 minutes. The dethatcher works great - for a smaller machine it really digs into the thatch and pulls it up. Really happy with the purchase.

Would RecommendPretty easy to put together if you look at a picture and not the included instructions. The instructions are pretty bad. The unit works very well. The catch bag is useless. The de-thatcher generated so much thatch that I would have to empty it every three feet.

Height adjustment lever issues
I like how it’s lightweight and relatively quiet. From what I can see the blades work however I can’t get the height adjustment lever to move forward despite pushing on it pretty well. Am I missing something?

Not as I thought for aeration
My main reason for purchase was to aerate my lawn. Detaching needs to be done next year. Problem is that both tools only worked as dethatching. Ended up renting an actual aerator. As far as dethatching, it works great but I am disappointed about the aerator tool
