Love it!!

To be perfectly honest this is my first soldering tool, iron, whatever you're supposed to call it haha I love this thing. Very easy to use and the built LEDs actually did help. I figured they would be useless, but again that's just probably my inexperience showing!! It seems like it is a quality product, I have only used it once. Some speaker wire came loose on my door speaker, so fixed that issue with this tool.

Hot Solder

This is a nice changeable tip solder tool comes with the basics to do a few repairs. Does nice with the added led lights no bulbs to change. The tip gets hot quick less time waiting easy to hold and light weight.

Efficient, a novice can use this

Easy to use. Simple. The LED is a nice touch if you are ever working in the dark.

Great Product - ideal for projects, bright light!!

This little 30W soldering iron really packs a punch - heats up quick, and has a very nice bright LED light to illuminate your work. Comes with a little stand and 3 different tips. Definitely recommended!!

Good quality soldering iron

This soldering iron has a very nice feel/grip to it. The added feature of the light in the tip is great as well. Allows you to see what you are working on as you continue to move around. The only downside that I see is that it doesn't have a stand to rest the iron on when not in use. It would be great to have one with a base of some sort, for added safety. Overall a nice product that will get a lot of use from me.

High Quality for Low Price

Overall: If you are looking for a simple soldering iron this Weller is as good as it gets among the best in the market for this price point. Good: The light is the best part. My previous iron fit the bill but the light on this iron is a small enhancement that really makes a difference for doing things like soldering behind speaker magnets or small components where you need to use one hand for magnification if you don't have helpers. The integrated light is a game changer

6 LED lights in the handle changed my life. That extra light is awesome. The rest of the iron is good with some different tips included, a assisting tool and some solder.

Exceptional Power

Great packagaing with all accessories in place. For an item that is sold in a plastic covering it was exceptpnally easy to access. The LED/Halo ring is one of the best features of this product, it is bright and really helps to focus. LED lights are a big plus

The LED lights are so helpful for those tiny soldering jobs that are hard to see. I love the interchangeable heads and how easy they are to switch. It gets hot very very fast so be careful.

Heats up fast and light is very useful

Great little hobby soldering iron that heats up fast and works well. Has a flat spot on to keep iron from rolling and includes a stand to keep hot pieces off table. LEDs are bright; this is my first iron with lights and they really come in handy! Includes 3 different size tips and a plastic/nylon tool. Very happy with this set.

Very nice soldering iron

I found the Weller LED soldering iron to work as expected and comes with a stand, a small roll of solder and two additional chisel bits which are easy to change with just a single set screw. I like to do wood burning and the chisel tips make a great addition to those projects. great DYI soldering gun

I needed a soldering gun for a small home project. purchased this due to the name brand, small for small projects, and the light. This soldering gun met my needs. Im new to soldering but this was easy to use and had great results with my home project. I like that there are some included accessories for future needs. Great idea not quite executed

It's a great idea to put lights on the iron... but due to the diffuser around the lights and the taper, not as much light as I expected reaches the tip. In a more confined space I'm sure it works better, and it's certainly better than no lights at all, but the design doesn't quite seem to work as well as you'd think. This Weller 30 watt soldering iron is a great entry DIY tool for around the shop, especially if doing wiring for 12v applications. The built in LED lights are very handy, it also comes with several replacement tips that you can swap with the use of the set screw. It also comes with a stand, although it’s a really cheap on. This is a pretty good starter soldering iron. I used it to solder a USB port back on a board and it did pretty great. Great for small jobs

This Soldering Iron kit is perfect for small jobs and fixes. It comes with everything you need to get started including 3 different attachment heads. The light ring is a great feature and is always on when plugged in. The cord is about 5ft and it has a comfortable rubber grip. I like the fact that this is only 30W but heats up to 750F.
