What Customers Are Saying
The soldering iron has mixed reviews. Many found it affordable and reliable for general electronics work, with the built-in LED light being a helpful feature. However, some customers were disappointed, reporting the iron did not get hot enough, had a short lifespan, and lacked quality compared to expectations. The lack of a stand was also noted as a downside. The reviews suggest the iron may work well for basic needs but has limitations and may not be suitable for more demanding applications.

Not high enough quality for Weller
The lighting is nice, but tinning is quite difficult.

Great for 3D Printing
Would RecommendI'm a beginning 3D printer, I used this to smooth and add features to my prints, works great. You can't control the temp but that doesn't matter, it gets hot enough for PLA plastics. I haven't tried it with any other filament yet!

Works great for speaker wire
Would RecommendWorked perfect to solder car speaker wire together; strengthening the connection better than those cheap wire connectors.

Tips are terrible
Would Not RecommendVery light use on HO train engines. Tip has burned. Will not hold solder/transfer heat to solder.
