Would RecommendI used a small square of wax paper for each burger. I cut several small squares and placed a square in the press before loading the hamburger meat. Pressed down until the meat filled the press. Burger came right out. During grilling the pattie held it's shape. No more ball shaped burgers!!

Disenchanted with Lowes military discount.
Would RecommendIt appears more and more items do not get the discount. There is no way you even know you won't get it on an item until it is rung up and you discover you are paying the marked price rather than the 10% off military discount on everything as original .promised when signing up. Would RecommendThis device is useful! The patties do stick to plastic so I usually do this with the meat cold and the press oiled up. I usually use olive oil dabbed on a napkin but you can spray pam if you want.
