What Customers Are Saying
The burger press has mixed reviews. Many customers found it useful for creating uniform, well-shaped patties and appreciated features like the dual setting and dimple for even cooking. However, a significant number reported issues with the meat sticking, making it difficult to remove the patties. Some felt the press was more work than it was worth, while a few had completely negative experiences. To get the best results, users recommend spraying the press with a non-stick cooking spray before use to prevent sticking.

Poor design
Would Not RecommendDo yourself a favor and find an old flexible plastic version of this item. One party company has been selling them for decades and has enough flex so you can easily get the patty out. They are stackable and interlocking so you can make patties ahead or even freeze them for future use complete with a snap on lid. Weber makes great grills, but this accessory falls flat.

Best of several I've tried
Would RecommendThis does exactly what it should, simply, and is even reasonably priced, especially for Weber. Per the other reviewer, you do have to be semi cautious when removing the patties. I used to oil the larger piece which worked ok, but now don't bother.

Burger press
Would RecommendWorks as it should, only thing is a grease build up when making multiple burgers. Rinse with hot water seems to keep things moving along.

Burgers break when removing from press.
Would Not RecommendBurgers break when removing from press.Weber needs to have better instructions on or in package on how to forming burgers that keep them formed.

Hi! To help keep your burgers formed, we would recommend hitting the press against a cutting board to remove the burger. This will allow the burger to...
Works like a champ
Would RecommendMeat will definitely stick to it if you don't do something to prevent it. My wife and I put disks of parchment or freezer paper in the top before pressing each patty. Leave the paper between patties if freezing. Otherwise just peel it off and throw away. We didn't try it but a larger piece of plastic wrap in the top can probably be used and re-used or wrapped around the patty if freezing. We added shredded cheddar cheese, chopped mushrooms (1 oz each per patty), salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Easy to use
Would RecommendI just bought one of these because I had used one at the Weber cooking school. We put Saran Wrap on the bottom and the top inside of the press so clean up was very easy and nothing stuck to the inside surfaces. When you cook a burger that is uniformly thick it turns out perfect every time! I also liked the Weber seasonings.
Works great.
Would RecommendI bought the burger press on sale at a local Lowes. After reading the reviews about the burgers "sticking" I was a bit concerned. It didn't come with any directions other than how to clean it. After reading another review I coated the parts of the press that come in contact with the hamburg with Pam non stick cooking spray. (Any food grade oil will work I think.) I then used the press to make 1/2 lb. and 1/4 lb. burgers. They came out of the press easily and perfectly formed. I'm very happy ...
Pefect, if you follow directions
Would RecommendThis makes perfect patties but you have to follow the instructions and use a touch of cooking oil on the plastic when you start. Patties slip right out!
Waste of money
