Would RecommendWanted a cast iron press, but this caught my eye in the store. Works great even though it’s plastic. It’s a time saver when you’re trying to make a lot of patties. Not sure why the handle detaches for “easy storage” since there’s still a stem underneath.

Would RecommendI looked at these in the store, and kind of wanted one just because it's Weber. I always talked myself out of it because I thought it was a novelty thing. Well my brother gave me one for my birthday some years back, and believe you me, it's not a novelty. I use this almost every time I make burgers. Nice Burger Patty Press
Would RecommendWe have had some other presses to make burger patties over the years. Problem was you have to dig the patty out of the press or use way too much oil for the patty to release. With this one the patty slides off the base. Also being able to make different thickness patties with one press is great. Just measure out or weigh the amount of ground beef you want in you patties. I wast wish the bottom was stainless steel or a thicker plastic.
