We installed 2 10" tubes with the frosted diffuser in our baths and they really don't bring in a lot of light. I am wondering if a different diffuser would bring in more light?

Love the added light
Would RecommendWe had our roof redone and installed six of these in the following rooms which have no direct light source (windows); two in the kitchen, one in the master bath, one in the second bath, one in the utility room and one in the master bedroom closet. The increased light is fantastic and the appearance is fine.

Would RecommendReally like the amount of light the sun tube has brought into our kitchen and stairway to the down stairs. I do wish there was a diffuser lens that provide a warmer color of light.

Better than expected
Would RecommendWe installed the Sun Tunnel in an interior bathroom on our second floor. It was so easy to install. It is mounted on the north’s side of our roof under a large shade tree and I am amazed at how much light it provides. I continually come upstairs and think someone left the light on in the bathroom. It makes the bathroom better, but also changes the dynamic of the hallway, making it so much more open and inviting.

We have one in our Fla home, but our homeowners here won't allow one unless it's put on backside of home. I need it on frontside. If installer runs an extension of tubing to reach where my sun tunnel needs to be, would the light be defused as brightly with a long extension?

Would Not RecommendThe tunnel lets in a lot of light, we have the 14" flexible, but I have some questions I can't find answers to which concern me. My first is, do these tunnels let in UVA radiation or is there some sort of coating on the product to block those harmful rays? Windows will block UVB but not UVA, and now that I have a hole in my ceiling letting in the sun I'm ultra concerned not only for my furniture and artwork but also my aging skin. Would RecommendWhen it came time for a new roof, we had the Velux Sun Tunnel skylight installed and we absolutely love it! We now have sunlight coming into our dark kitchen all day long. We had an electrician install the Daylight Controller, but have never felt the need to close the skylight.
