Purchased this in November it's like my kitchen doesn't even need a light on anymore I always go to shut the light off . And it's the sun tunnel. Solor Sky light is unbelievable. Shuts automatically When it starts raining. Love it all.

Wonderful day and night

Our house was not very bright and this investment has paid off in everyway. The light filters in and makes our whole house happy. Before we got VELUX, I would have every light on in the house most of the day, now the sunlight and the moonlight that is filtered are both wonderful. Small investment with maximum return. I can not think of one complaint, not one!!!

Works well, and I love it

I bought 3 of the Sun Tunnels and installed them in the bathroom, hallway and the kitchen. They totally changed the looks of the interior. I like how I don't need to turn on the lights during the day now. Over all, I will highly recommend people to install them.

Taken for a ride!

I was really disgusted that the skylight is designed to make it impossible to flash it in without the extra flashing kit. I had to drive over to the Connecticut Velux warehouse and pick up a flashing kit to fit the skylight. That was an additional $128 on top of the $254 purchase.

These sun tunnels are great..they add such nice, natural light to the room! The service was super fast, efficient, professional and they left no mess! I would and have highly recommend this company!

After custom modification, it should work

We have three Velux TGF 14-inch tubes, installed July 2015 with our new roof. To reduce the heat buildup, I bought three of the ZTC 0041US 14-inch energy kits. I installed them and they work fine. To darken the hallway at least at the bedroom end, I bought two of the ZTK 14-inch blackout kits. Outstanding Green Answer.

We needed to have an old roof replaced and knocked around the idea if some kind of green source of light. I called Ken Clover whom I have known for several years, and he showed us the SunTunnel lights. They were exactly what we needed in this mid century ranch home. Love my sun tunnels!

We had sun tunnels installed in both of our windowless bathrooms. What a difference! Really like how the sun tunnels brighten the room and the nice soft light they provide. Daylight Solutions staff was very helpful. Discussed with us the best locations for the tunnels and did a great job of installation and cleanup.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

This was on our solar tube for one day and the shade melted to the plastic cover of our solar tube so now the cover of the solar tube is ruined. Will definitely be returning and will see if Lowes and/or Velux will stand behind their product make things right

Trouble free operation as day one

We bought over house 3 years ago and Master Bathroom had no window. Didn't like the idea of having artificial lights on during day time. We tested few products and zeroed on Tubular sunlight from Velux. We went for 14 inch one . After 3 years it still works as new. No issues with intensity of light or any condensation.

We installed this skylight in one afternoon, flashing kit and all. I was going to buy online but all the flashing kits confused me and because I knew it was special order I wanted to get it right. Went in to our local store and they fixed me right up. Cutting a giant hole in the roof was a little scary, but the skylight went right in! The flashing kit was a little tricky. This Velux skylight was a replacement for a Roto skylight that I installed twenty five years ago. I am not a professional carpenter and was able to follow the excellent instructions included with the product and expanded on the Velux website. I am really impressed with the free shipping (to store) and pricing overall. I had to return the flashing kit because I ordered the wrong number. description incorrect!!!

Beware!!! Lowes has incorrect information in the description of this product! This is for the 14 inch sun tunnel. Velux does not make a flexible extension that fits the 10". There is nothing wrong with the product, it looks great, but Lowes has the information wrong.
