What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally considered an unreliable and ineffective tool for removing water heater elements. The majority of reviews indicate the wrench is poorly made, does not fit the heating element nut properly, and often slips or rounds out when trying to loosen the element. Many customers recommend using a standard 1.5-inch socket instead, as it provides a tighter and more secure fit. The main issues cited include poor quality and construction, loose and imprecise fit, and the need to use additional tools to complete the task. Overall, the consensus is that this specialized wrench is not worth the frustration and a standard socket is a better, more reliable option.

Would Not RecommendHad a hard time keeping it on element nut. Had to grab with pipe wrench close to nut. Get a 6 point deep well socket if you can.

Would RecommendWorked well but world be better if a handle came in the package.

See "like or not like," above.
Would Not RecommendPoorly engineered. Just a stamped tube with poor location of the "screwdriver" hole which gives poor leverage on hard-to-turn heating element threads. When strong pressure is applied it easily slips off the small 1/4" purchase area on the heating element. The hole is placed too far up the tool to avoid the thing popping off. Get a (more expensive) 1/2" socket for a ratchet instead.
