No more going outside to unplug the lights !

It works! Only two things that are not excellent: some steps in the programming process are unclear, and the plug is upside down for the orientation of my outside receptacles. Unit is supposed to hang straight down but in my case it does not and hangs in a u shape. Time will tell if this causes any issues.

It was ok but the instructions were unclear

I purchased this for timed lights outside the home for a Christmas bliss light and some other twinkle lights. It didn't work exactly as the instructions indicated. Playing with it over 3 evenings, I finally got it to work correctly.

Digital timer

I am pretty savvy when it comes to programming things but this thing bested me. Setting current time was easy but from there it has been a nightmare. Buy at your own frustration

Does the job - programming not the easiest

Does what I need it to do, and a little more exactly than the manual timers. Programming what is a pretty normal set-up of on everyday at a certain time and off everyday at a certain time is a bit harder than you would expect - I would probably have made that the first default. Has three outlets in it, which is nice.

Best timer for the price.

I use this timer for my holiday lights. It works very well. I have used other timers that only last one season or less. One of these timers has lasted 4 years with no problems. I highly recommend them.

Did not work!!

I purchased this to operate a single set of LED Christmas house lights. I did not need multiple outlets, so I chose this as it only had 3 and I only needed one. Programming the timer is a little involved, but not really difficult. The problem was it didn't work and would not turn on the lights at the specified times. The photo cell dusk to dawn feature worked as well as the manual on off. I purchased this for the timer function, so it's not usable for my needs. I will return it and purchase the ...

Works great for outside lights. Two plugs makes christmas light hook up easy.

don't program during the time you want it on!

I love this unit, but it took me a few days to discover something that the manual fails to mention: do not set your program during the time you want the unit on. The unit needs to cross the start time for the unit to turn on. I was trying to program the unit to turn our Christmas lights on at 5:00 pm and off at 11:00pm. But I was doing it at 6:00 pm, and when I finished programming, the unit remained off. But when I programmed that time period at 7:00 am, the unit did turn on at 5:00 pm. Perhaps...

Terrible product

Confusing instructions. Couldn't get it to work on the Auto setting utilizing the times. Taking it back to Lowes. Unfortunately it seemed to be the only timer available where I could program the time. Taking it back and going to HD.

Junk

Purchased this product. Set the time, set the Auto Program. NOTHING! The only time it would turn on was when you select on 24 hours. Helluva timer. DO NOT BUY!!! I make my living as a computer programmer.

GLAD I PURCHASED

Product was easy to program; purchased to prepare for when I put Christmas lights up; right now I'm using it for some novelty lights I have sitting in my flower pot I have on the front porch.

Digital Light Timer

I use this timer to turn on some outside lighting at dusk. The lights are on two hours (adjustable) and then go off. I was surprised and happy to learn there is a rechargeable battery inside that keeps the clock from losing time when there is a power outage.

Close But No Cigar

I needed a shutdown timer and the packaging suggested that this timer could be used for that function (turns on for a specific period of time, then shuts off and does not automatically cycle). I wanted to use the timer to control unattended battery chargers (phone, tool, etc) so that the batteries would not overcharge. I liked the wide range of implied shutdown times. The instructions were daunting, but I finally found the part for setting up a shutdown timer. It worked great the first time but...

Not a good product

Tried 2 of these -from 2 different Lowe's- neither would keep time and they always forgot the programming ... did some testing after I got the second. Set the time & day #on a Tuesday# then programmed to go on every day @ 0530 and off @ 2100 -9pm-. Next morning -Wed- @ 6am I found timer had not turned on and the day / time was now Monday 9am ... when it 'resets' the clock starts at Mon midnight so it obviously just totally reset itself when the program turned off on Tue night @ 9pm ... resetting...

Outdoor timer

Purchased 2 of these and neither worked. Called the enclosed number and was actually argued with about units not working. Returned both for refund. Would not recommend.

Poor Quality

This timer worked for one day then I got a error code when I tried to reset the time.

Priced well; reliable; easy to use;

I bought two of them. One I installed on an interior security lamp. Set the device for 'sunset to dawn'. I taped the electric eye face to an exterior window (windows run floor to ceiling, so it is totally obscured by furniture) and it has been a champ. No thinking. WILL NOT KEEP TIME

I thought this was the answer to turning my fountain on and off when I wanted. BUT, I reprogrammed it 3 times and it would not kep time hence it would NOT come on when I wanted. Maybe I got a bad one?
