What Customers Are Saying
The product has mixed reviews. Some customers found it easy to install and reported good water pressure, but a significant number experienced issues with the tank's quality and durability. Many reviewers noted the bladder failed prematurely, often within 2-3 years. Some also mentioned problems with the plastic base and rusting connections. While the tank was generally easy to install and had a 5-year warranty, the high rate of failures led many to express disappointment and lack of confidence in the product's long-term reliability.

Would RecommendEasy to Install, pre-charged, Works like it is supposed to.
Great purchase.
Would RecommendI had it installed by a plumber and he said it was an excellent choice. It took him only 45 minutes to remove the old tank and install the new one.
15 minute job
Would RecommendI replaced a similar tank with this one. Turn off pump, or valve, drain down water, separate union near tank, quickly flop old tank on side so as not to drain old saturated tank into your work area. Remove pipe from old tank, install in new tank, with pipe dope. place new tank where old tank sat, connect union, turn on pump, done. You may need to increase the air pressure in the bladder./ It should be 2 pounds less than the cut in pressure of your pressure switch.

Good Buy
Would RecommendI have installed many of these with my business. I have yet to have one fail.
Afternoon installation
Would RecommendThis product was fairly easy to install, my husband and I put it in without much trouble and no experience. The only hiccup was that the this tank required a longer T than our former tank, as the water attachment is farther from the edges.
Well constructed, great price, beat expectations!
Would RecommendHaving water supply equipment issues resulted in pulling out my older, near failure 20 gal name brand tank (WELL-X-TROL). I was put off initially with the "composite" (or plastic some would say) base when shopping. At $278 advertised price plus additional 10% holiday savings, solid warranty period, reasonably close store, and more than double prior capacity made a decision easy. The composite base is well designed for what it is and you'll be thankful for not having the extra weight when dealin...
easy to install
Would RecommendThis tank was easy enough to install. The only issue that I had was with the plastic base. Once you install the tank tee and pressure up the system, you cannot see underneath the tank to verify that there aren't any leaks.
Good value for the price.
Would RecommendSome of the reviews complain about the plastic base the tank sets on, but I do not see any problems with it. This unit is designed that once it is filled it's not supposed to be moved, so the tank base works just fine. Easy to install and no leaks. Works just as it was designed to.
Lasted not even 4 years/ Has 5 Year Warranty
Would RecommendUpgraded to this 52 gallon tank 4 years ago when I had my well pump replaced. Just 2 weeks ago my well pump went again, the pump company came in and replaced the pump under warranty and when the tech checked the pressure and saw that after running the water full open for a few minutes the pressure would drop to 0 and he said the switch was bad. I replaced the switch and it was still doing the same thing. the tank was only filling up with about 2 inches of water. With it being a 52 gallon tank it...
Well pressure tank
Would RecommendPurchased this as replacement for an older tank with a blown bladder, for a friend. Ease of installation, size, all mattered. Once bladder was inflated to match well pressure cut off/on switch, IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER than older tank on supplying the house with constant pressure without the pump continuously starting/stopping.
Returning TODAY
Would Not RecommendAfter not even two weeks of use the bladder practically exploded in this tank leaving us with no way of using our water supply. VERY poor craftsmanship.
Nice Tank
Would RecommendMy well is outside and only used for irrigation purposes, the previous tank lasted me 17 years before the bladder went bad and the bottom rotted out. This new vertical tank is the way to go. And lo and behold it is actually made by AO Smith for Lowes. Quality is excellent, finish is great and it is working beautiful other than having to ad a little air pressure to match up to my pump pressure switch it was a charm to plumb in.
