Would Not RecommendI would not recommend this product. This purchase was made because it was a replacement of the original that was purchased and the tank only lasted less than a year. The internal bladder developed a leak. If not for the warranty I would have purchased another brand of tank. Lowes was very helpful and made the replacement easy.

Failure after two weeks
Would Not Recommendoriginal tank bladder ruptured after approx seven years, I purchased a new utlitech tank and installed it myself, the job was relatively easy to do i installed unions for easy removal and was glad i did the new tank lasted less than two weeks before failed. returning it for an exchange was another story. lets hope it was a manufacturing defect and the new one lasts a little longer! as a side note the new base is designed using a cheap plastic which can barely handle its own weight.

Would Not RecommendDo not buy this tank! I ignored the reviews and purchased this product anyways which was a bad decision. Right out of the box it was not prepressurized correctly. After installing this tank I pressured it up for the first time and the bladder failed. My well pump just kept short cycling and no matter how much air i added or took out it always showed 55 lbs after pressuring back up, which is how i came to the conclusion that the bladder failed. Would Not Recommendthis tank is JUNK last under two years and the warranty is pathetic. Mail this do this what a waste. I promise you one thing you buy it your wasting your money. Bladder fills with water slowly losses pressure next thing you kno when you need water you got none.

Would RecommendThis item was a great replacement/upgrade for my current 19 gallon tank. 1.25" inlet handles a standard size tank tee. Be sure to adjust the air pressure in the tank as recommended in the instructions. Installation went without a hitch. I also like that this is a larger tank, but it's a larger diameter rather than being much taller. It worked great in my 4' tall well house.

Would RecommendThe installation of the tank was easy. This tank is largest than my previous tank. This help in the cycling of the water pump. I am disappointed in the plastic base. This plastic base may give problems in long term. As far as the tank for long term, time will tell.

Would RecommendWe use this pump for our water well. Comes with 5 year warranty. Water got behind the lining. Lowes employees at Petal store went out of their way to have replacement tank waiting at front door ,unloaded defective tank and load replacement so I could return quickly with tank to get my well working quickly. my old tank had ruptured causing us to have ueven water flow. installed this unit and have steady water flow again. of course this happened on sunday so lowes bailed me out again.the product fit&works like it should, well constructed. i also went from 20 gallon capacity to 36 gallon. this helps on well pump.
