Would Not RecommendThe welded fitting on the bottom of the tank will fail. Guaranteed. 1st tank weld failed, leak. Figured I got a bad tank. 2nd tank weld failed, leak. Both tanks failed 2-3 years. Buying a third hoping it lasts until I sell. Atleast it is only for irrigating the yard.

Would RecommendWe bought this for my elderly parents..The tank was easy to install, we replaced the pressure gauge, switch and of course had to replace the pipes from the tank, we wanted all new on the tank. As the review stated previously, you can install it yourself, just make sure you have the electricity turned off for the well..So far everything is working as it should, the only thing that I recommend is on the base the company needs to have a flange on it so you can bolt it down, it's steady with the bas...

Water Pressure Heaven

Would RecommendInstall was straight forward. Be sure to determine if a new drain valve and install fitting for the bottom of your tank is needed and pick up at time of purchase or you will be making a second trip back to the store. Start to finish, the install took about 2 hours. I am mechanically inclined but I am not a plumber.

Not what I wanted but it works
Would RecommendI ordered the HT 62 pressure tank twice, the first one was never ordered, ordered it the second time only to find out a week later that none in stock and the factory would not be able to ship for another 5 days. So got on the internet to see what was available, found this 52 gal tank at my local Lowe's store. Not the size I wanted (wanted the 62 gal) Did not have much of a choice. The tank installed with no problems and seems to be working like is should.

Would RecommendI installed one of these tanks about three years ago after replacing the well pump. The job was relatively easy and the tank has been working fine ever since. I have not had to add air to the tank since installation, so I assume it is not leaking air into the water. (I had this problem with the tank I had replaced). Seems to be working ok. I'm confused that the tank only holds maybe five gallons of water? Why even bother with any tank over 10 gallons???? It seems to me that it would be a little better explained prior to purchase, maybe better literature provided for customers??? If I was to need one in the future l would save a lot of money buy buying a smaller capacity tank. Too late for this go around........

Would RecommendTank was packed well, nice paint and no dents. Manufactured by HO Smith for Utilitech. Handy plastic pedestal included. Went in easily. Good value compared to local plumbing supply houses that were 50% mor expensive. Install with a new switch, gauge, pressure relief and clean and grease your electrical connection to the switch for best results..
