Nice upgrade

Old tank was rotting away. Had plumbers change leaking piping and do the tank while at it. Stepped up a size which should reduce pump cycling.

Used sold as new.

I could tell the box had been opened so i reopened it in the store, inspected and saw the fitting underneath was bent out of possition not square to intended place, apeeared to have had a pipe screwed in as i could see witness marks, only one in stock so i got it anyway. A little gentle bend back into place and some teflon tape. No problems so far. Works and jeeps pump from running too much as designed. Had 20 psi in top of tank like tag said. No problems so far so good.

Replacement Expansion Tank

I replaced a bad expansion tank with a Utilitech 52-Gallon Vertical Pressure Tank and everything went easy. This tank has a very nice painted finish and looks well made. The base is sturdy but light. The connection at the bottom was secure and watertight. I am sure to use this brand on future installs.

Bad out of the box

Got this home and plumbed in, made the mistake of not checking the preset pressure beforehand, when I did check it found out it was at 0, called the manufacturer help number listed on the manual and asked whether it was bad or just not preset, they had no idea, said I should call Lowes? Tried it since it was already plumbed in and of course it was bad. Pressure Tank

This is the second tank that I purchased recently. I like that the tank was made here and has a five year warranty. Time will tell how long they are operational. So far so good.

Poor Plastic Stand

I purchased this and was immediately disappointed when I removed it from the box. The stand this pump sits on is a very thin black flexible plastic that doesn't even appear strong enough to support the tank when empty. This might possibly work in a cool shaded environment but I'm not sure how long this will last in the hot Florida sun so I returned it hoping to find a similar tank like the one I had before which had 3 steel legs.

Fast and easy install, preset air was prefect.

Simple to install, just don't forget to check your pipe and fittings sizes, I had to run back and get the right stuff. (my fault)

Great Value

Appears to be a very well made, Heavy Duty tank. I have had several over the last 40 years so consider myself a good judge. Being 100% American Made pretty much sealed the deal for me. The 5 Years warranty is a big plus as well as having been available at my local Lowe's store on Sunday when I really needed it(NO WATER!!!!) Adding some temporary handles to ease installation would be nice as size & round shape can make it awkward to handle. Overall a Great product at a Great price.

Perfect upgrade and easy to install

Pressure tank

My Utilitech 36- Gallon pressure tank was very easy to install and works great. It doesn't require as much space as some others because of the plastic base. My old pressure tank had a metal base that rusted to the point that I had to put the pressure tank up on bricks, so the plastic base should be a great improvement.

Faulty Base

The support base at the bottom of the tank was manufactured improperly to allow the pipe to come out at 90 degrees. Had to modify the boot exit hole to accommodate pipe for proper installation.

Bad bladder

I've had this tank for about a year now and since 6 months ago my pressure switch started short cycling like crazy. Turns out the bladder in the tank is bad and extra air keeps sneaking in over pressurizing the tank which is what is causing the short cycling. This is the 2nd tank from this brand I've had, the 1st one was bad out of the box.

Utilitech 20 Gal tank

Tank looks well built other than the plastic base. Installed easily by myself. will have to wait and see. 5 year warranty so time will tell.

LPT36S Tank

Easy installation to existing T using two shark bite fittings and a short piece of copper pipe. Base height of tank had to be adjusted a little. Total time to remove the old tank and install the new one with a new pressure switch was 75 minutes. The shark bite fittings are a little salty but worth every penny! Tank performs perfect after 6 weeks!

Great Tank & EXCELLENT Warranty

My bladder tank went out and after searching high and low I kept coming back to this tank. The price was reasonable but what sold me was the warranty - 5 Years!! Every other tank that I looked at only had a 1 year warranty and with my previous bladder tank lasting less than this, this was the obvious choice. "Well" priced air tank (pun intended)

Old tank was a 32 gal so this fit the bill. It only came pre-pressurized at 19psi so had to bump it up to the 38psi required with a 40/60 switch but other than that works great. I have really hard water and tanks only last about 10 years. It's nice to find one for a reasonable price. Last one was fiberglass ($400+) and still only lasted 11 yrs.
