What Customers Are Saying
The product has received mixed reviews. Some users found it easy to install and functional, while many others reported reliability issues, such as the timer mechanism failing or shutting off prematurely. The installation instructions were also described as confusing and inadequate. Additionally, concerns were raised about the build quality, with the switch feeling cheap and prone to breaking. While a few customers noted the timer worked well for their needs and provided good value, the negative experiences appear to outweigh the positive ones, suggesting this may not be a consistently reliable or user-friendly option.

Would Not RecommendI bought this, wasted at an hour of my time trying to figure this out. Instructions were absolutely useless!! My dad bought one, took it apart, and still couldn't figure it out. Took them both back and tried another, which had 4 (???) wires. Finally figured out through much trial and error and google, that my old house isn't compatible--no neutral wire. Oy vey! I spent more than I wanted, but ended up with this which I LOVE!! https://www.lowes.com/pd/Lutron-Maestro-5-Amp-Digital-Residentia...

Defective??
Would Not RecommendThis timer was uninstallable. I returned it and bought on very similar unit on Amazon. The second one had connection wires permanently installed and ready for install. The TORK unit was the same design but had NO wires or any way of accessing the unit to place any wiring. So, I think the TORK unit was simply not made correctly. Otherwise, it would have seemed to be a good timer.
Our in wall timer does not come pre wired.

Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendTimer only shuts itself off about 50% of the time after only 2 months. Don’t waste your money or time on this.

Great for slightly used areas
Would RecommendWe had a small room over our garage that you'd access through a small door in a bedroom. It had a ceiling light that had a switch near the door. Naturally curious grandchildren who love to explore would turn on the light and leave it on when they were done and the door closed. Problem solved!

Not good instructions
No where in the instructions does it tell you to remove face plate to access screws!!!! Tried to insert wires for 15 mins before giving up and taking it apart!!!!! If I didn’t live 45mins from Lowe’s I would have definitely returned this timer.

Read reviews! Remove face to screw in wires
Would Not RecommendDirections are worthless on this. For some weird reason you have to remove the knob and Faceplate in order to turn the screw to tighten or loosen the wires.

Once you turn the dial, it won't turn back if you want to reduce the time or turn it off. Maybe it is possible, but I don't want to force it and break the switch. Inexcusable to not have adequate installation instructions.
Forcing the dial will decrease the life of the timer.

A couple issues make this a bad choice
Would Not RecommendFirst, as reviewed above, the instructions are laughable. You need to remove the faceplate to gain access to the screws for the wires. In addition, I found that the attached ground wire was too short for my application. This was installed in the right side of a three-gang box while the bundle of ground wires were snuggled into the left side. I had to do quite a bit of re-arranging to get everything lined up. Finally, the ground wire is crimped to the upper mounting tab and there is a correspondi...

Tork RFD60M Timer
Would Not RecommendI agree with the previous two reviewers; the installation instructions are woefully inadequate. You must pull the timer knob and remove the decorative cover plate before you can access the pressure plate screws. After that, installation is fairly straightforward. I'm using the timer on a gas fireplace and it seems to be performing well.

Same comment as first reviewer: didn't know I had to remove the timer face plate to get to the posts. Good thing I stumbled upon his or her review.

Inadequate installation instructions
Would Not RecommendTo install this, you have rotate the face behind the dial to access the set screws for the power terminals. This information is completely missing from the instructions, and not obvious to a DIY'er.
Your concerns on instructions will be forwarded to our marketing dept.
