Questionable build quality

I have used mechanical wall timers for decades in my homes. Most of them last 15 years or more. This one gets the job done, but only just barely. The clock mechanism is a VERY loose fit inside the main housing... as a result, the knob rattles and wiggles whenever handled. There is NO way to tighten it to a "solid" feel, the internal tolerances are just not precision enough. (As far as I can tell, this was a new/sealed item, not returned merchandise.) Broken right out of the box

The switch itself was broken and failed to countdown right after installing. The install procedure itself is non-obvious (what other switch has you remove the faceplate to tighten electrical connection screws?) The included guide displayed the wrong device as well. Terrible, cheap product that doesn't work.

Trash

DO NOT BUY I bought 2 of these for 2 different bathroom fans and I would NOT recommend them. 1. Both have failed within 60 days. They do not countdown anymore. So its now a manual switch again. 2. Hard to install with terrible instructions. DO NOT BUY

Timer

Was used for a bathroom exhaust fan. Purchased and installed in December 2018, failed in February 2020, only lasted 14 months before the timer stopped ticking. Other than that it worked great until it failed.

TORK Timer

Overall a ok item. the threaded nipple that holds the faceplate on is made from plastic and was cracked in one of my items. Ticking isn't too loud. Timer is fully mechanically so you dont need to worry about having a netural wire

Very cheap design. Works, but only after fixing.

This is your run-of-the-mill timer. Can be mechanically set up to 60-minutes. Install was straight forward but the last step of putting the knob on was disappointing. The knob just kept falling off. I had to stuff a piece of plastic around the knob shaft to give it some tightness to keep the knob from falling right off the shaft.

Perfect Timer

Installed in bathroom to an exhaust fan so it doesn’t run all day when I leave the house. Fit perfectly in existing two gang box with original faceplate.

Money Savings

I put in these timers for all 4 of my bathrooms. I was tired of hearing the bathroom fans because no one shut them off. Constantly on!! Now they're only running for 5 to 10 mins. And shut themselves off. Savings in electricity paid for these timers many times.

Simple and works

Mechanical and just works. The fancy digital one wouldn't work with the new fan because the fan didn't draw enough power. The simple, mechanical one works great!

Stopped working on the 3rd try

I installed this in the bathroom with no fuss. However, after the third use, the timer mechanism stopped working. I will try and exchange this today and I'll see how the new one does!

decent product but stupid to install

I think it will be a great product and seems to be working good so far, though it's only been 3 days. It is however one of the least user friendly switches I've ever installed. The instructions were literally useless, which was impressive since I didn't think I'd ever need to try and use instructions to install a simple switch. in order to install it, you have to pull off the main turning dial, unscrew the thin bolt that was beneath it, remove the entire face plate, loosen the screws found ...

The instructions must have have been written by a non-American. Please rewrite in simple English.

great way to save electricity

Easy to use compact small. Keeps from burning up fountain pumps by not letting them run when you forget to turn them off.

Water Closet

I wanted to use this on the exhaust fan in our water closet so that it would not keep running until someone came back to it. We love it and it works perfectly. Easy to install and works like a charm!

Great for the price (for a while).

I have installed several of these over the last few years. They are simple to install, fairly accurate, and can be used where only one inlet and one outlet wire are available. The downsides are 1. If used numerous times a day, the life expectancy is about 2 years before the spring starts intermittently losing the ability to shut it off all the way. 2. If you set it for too much time, you cannot turn it backwards without damage.
