Poor electrical design. Unsafe switch.

The wiring connections for this switch are incredibly weak. When tightening the terminals the flat contact behind the screw deformed so that the wire could not be clamped securely into the terminal. This resulted in the wire being loose and is a hazard. The force to cause this to happen was well below typical switch terminal torque and makes this switch unusable and unsafe. I replaced with a switch from another company that was built much closer to standard commercial/industrial quality switches...

Switch works exactly as intended/desired. Printed directions have been updated clearly to address concerns of earlier reviews that said the need to remove the knob, nut and dial plates to access the terminal screws was not clear in the directions. (Step 2 of current directions states "Remove two wall plate screws, twist knob and center nut exposing wire terminal screws for installation.") Time did not shut off. would not re buy this timer

Thought about this one for a while. How to leave the shower vent fan running after leaving the room, but not all day? This solved the problem perfectly.

In-wall Timer

Returned because the push-in sockets would not grab the existing wires that were just fine for the previous timer. These in-wall timers have a limited lifetime and am used to replacing them every few years when the timer function is lost.. This is the first time the replacement was immediate no-go. Returned product for cheerful refund, but no interest in why it was being returned.

Great inexpensive fan timer.

These TORK manual twist fan timers work well and are inexpensive. They are easy to install as no common lead is required. Just what I was looking for!

Tork Timer doesn't countdown

My Countdown of durability expectations disappeared along with my dollars. For around $15.00 +. I received about 15 months of TORK countdowns. Sadly, these months were not enough TORK timings to make me feel I received my moneys worth of electrical effort from this TORK TOY. My second bathroom vent fan/light seldomly vented or lighted being that the second bathroom was seldomly used! Defective x

I had to return this as it was defective. The mechanical countdown did not work.

Timers

I use these on bathroom fans to force customer to leave fan on to eliminate mold after a shower. These are quiet and smooth ,no clicking sound as we get from some models and these have a lot better success rate than button timers.

Bathroom fan timer

Replacement windup timer for bathroom fan. It installed easier than the original digital timer. and I should never have tried the digital timer. It only lasted a year

Directions are not too helpful

I had no problem installing this, but only because I've done several others just like it. The other brands I've used have come in the box with the face plate already removed, which allows the connection terminals to be visible behind. I'm glad a lot of other reviewers pointed out that the retaining nut and face plate must be removed first in order to tighten the wires. Otherwise, no problems. poor design, instructions & quality

Changeover is time consuming, instructions not clear, terminals are under faceplate and secure in plastic therefore strip out easily. When fully installed timer knob is loose. Country of manufacture dictates the quality.

Good old fashioned timer

The switch has multiple uses,I use it to time my bathroom fan,Others I'm sure use it for other things. I t has the old fashioned tick as it counts down which is nice so you know its working,I have no problems with this item.

Directions don't show where screws are

As stated in other reviews, you need a wrench to remove the nut holding the faceplate on to get at the terminal screws, none of which is mentioned in the directions. An unnecessarily obtuse design.
