What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-received for its ability to provide a reliable straight edge for various cutting tools. Many users found it durable and easy to use, with the adjustable length feature being particularly useful. However, some customers reported issues with the straightness of the edge and flexibility when extended, as well as the quality of the included clamps. Overall, the product appears to be a good value for most woodworking and home improvement tasks, though a small number of users experienced performance problems.

Would RecommendI purchased this guide some time back and recently used it to rip a 4 x 8 sheet of T111. I put a board under it to keep from sagging. It worked great. My edge was straight and fit perfectly. For the money (much cheaper than in a catalog I received) it's well worth the price. I'm buying one for my son in law.
was excited until it bent...
Would Not RecommendI had not purchased a straight-edge for my Skil saw before as I always opting to make shift my own at home for those long cuts. I was excited to see this at Lowe's and thought the price was OK. The first time I set it up to rip a 4x8 sheet to plywood I had a feeling the middle would flex a bit so I put a small finish nail alongside for support. Excellence in simplicity
Would RecommendI have used Cutting Guides for 50 years, and have found this design to be the best i have seen. Other units by different makers are too complicated with too many parts to lose. The screws fit into Tapped Locations, not into slotted Grooves or Keyhole Slots, and will not fall out. Properly Assembled it is as Straight as Advertised
save your money
Would Not RecommendI am returning this after I discovered none of my cuts were straight, thanks! Like the other guy said, about an 1/8" bow in the middle which I am not trying to get out, just get something better.
not bad for price
Would Recommendi haven't had any problems with this. one side is flat for clamping so the clemps don't get in the way. perfectly straight when i put next to a heavy cast iron machinist's straight edge. haven't used it with both sides connected yet though
